Does anyone use a proposal sheet to Identify what will be done to avoid something like this happening? Just a note; 3 weeks ago, I helped a fellow contractor in my area and we did a home that was 3 stories high and had some difficult areas to reach (Ex. bottom of chimney where it connects to roof, among other areas) We ended up discounted the price 100.00 as well as taking off all the screens before the clean and replacing them after the home was cleaned. We also had to take both of our rigs to have enough water to complete the job (driveway was included) He watched and pointed the whole time, but when we was finishing up on his driveway we ran out of water....needed about 200 gals at most to finish, he first said no, we could not hook up, offered him more discount to hook up saying that its cheaper than diesel, still no...I then explained we was hour away and hour before dark and he could either let us use it or come back next day which would mean his driveway left unrinsed, he finally choose to let us hookup to finish. Got a call yesterday from my fellow contractor and the home owner called and said we missed a spot and one his screens has a hole in it, He is going to go back and check it out because it is his/our reputation at stake Bottom line is we went over and beyond because we knew the type of customer he was going to be and it was still not enough

Hi Doug, looks like when you pour concrete and it splatters on house, but if its on three side I doubt thats it. we are on our way to North Ga to clean the condo's, hauling 1050 gals water there, have yourself a great Easter, you can call me anytime, I will not be on the boards there.

For those of you that use a gutter cleaner to remove black streaks off gutters using the spray on and rinse method....How do you reach the gutters?? What I use recommends mixing it 3:1 and put in pump sprayer and apply to gutter and rinse off. That works well if I can get the reach to gutter with the pump up sprayer from the ground...however I have not found a easy way to apply it to 2 or more stories especially on a windy day. If you x-jet seems like you waste more that you use, if you use the pump spray method. I like the spray pump method....I just wish it came with a 12 ft extension! How do you guys reach the high gutters working from the ground??

Wow! 2 years!!! I thought you needed to flush the deckster out if you used to cleaners for the gutters!!

I am assuming you have a small chemical tank that is decated to gutter cleaner and set up to unroll hose around house to spay gutters...Do you have to flush your system to remove Chems from pump and hose...how do you have that set up?

Use this for the really "Big Bucks"

Are they much waste using the deckster, I know when I spray ready seal I can go thru a 5 before I know it. I have the deckster, but I have not used it to apply gutter soap, I recken you have to wheel it around but its easier than moving a ladder every 7 ft or so......well I guess thats why they pay us the "Big Bucks"

Just courious Jeff what type of extensions do you use mostly?

I use a alumium 1/4'" tubing 16' most of the time even when I wash ranch homes, cover more ground while standing it one spot and you can use the "flimsy" to your advantage once you get used to it.

has any one tried to make an 1/4 aluminum tube extension? cut hoses on spray wand install quick connects hook back up and pump up or better yet use a battery power sprayer? maybe even using the deckster....ummmm it might work!!!

Do any of you guys use "QUICKS PRO" to print invoices from your laptop using portable printer for your customers before you leave the job? I would imagine most would not, but few might be into high tech gadgets and might even be using wireless credit card swipes. I am interested in this and was wondering if it would be difficult to set up and what software would work best. ****************added note************** I bought "qb pro" and would be interested to see how others use it with thier customized invoices?? Pm me if you wouldn't mind sharing your thoughts and Ideas

I have got very little response for someone wanting to pressure wash a large roof in Atlanta. I would have though I would have gotten more responses. I am wondering why the lack of interest???? OK guys ....tell me why I got so little response and what I need to post to find someone to bid and do this job, with or without me.
