So how much wetting do you old timer pro's think is enough when it come to the vegitation. Soak em or wet em a bit.

Good idea, I have a couple hundred feet coming from the local fire dept. However here they remove the ends so you would have to replumb the hose ends if they do that there. Dale, do you get the hose with the ends still on it, that would be nice.

That could happen real easy, poor guy.. He could have been very careful and messed up one time.

I had donated to me a set of 8 stackable fans that I plan to stick four in a square and then stack the other four on top of them and install them in my reef vent, they only draw 12v @ .33 amps so they should run for a long time on a good battery. Has anyone ever done anything like this? Looking to draw as much heat out of the trailer as I can and this should work out good. I figure I will wire them in pairs too, that way I can turn two on at a time. Something like the following is what I am talking about as far as how they will be mounted, then another stack of them on top so they assist and blow through the other ones. [][] [][]

Don't know if it was worse, just not very fun :D Needless to say I fired the guy shortly after that deal, not only for that incident but the fact I found out he was coming to work baked most of the time and did not want him killing someone...

Yeah be careful. Had this happen to me years ago however this was a case of some idiot putting acid in a winshield washer jug and left it in the corner. Like an idiot myself I picked it up and took a big ole smell. Got myself some seriously burnt sinuses, bleeding, the whole works..

The FIPK kit from K&N will feed you more air and increase your fuel economy, however I find that most people dig the sound of the fipk and hit the gas more :) fipk = Fuel injector perfomance kit. Basicaly bypasses the air box and filter with a new system.

These are pretty small but they are made to move large amounts of air in a massive server cabinets so I am gonna wire them up for a try, I will keep you guys posted as they are cheap and easy on a battery if you need to go that route. If that don't work out I am going the power inverter way, but do you have any idea what the draw would be on a deep cycle battery for something like a box fan? this would be good information as well. Thanks

Sorry to hear that, was it an acid that got you?

What pressure washer to buy????

Shoot me an email at ron.mahlke@frontiernet.net and I will tell you what I have found. -
I picked up a surflo to check it out for a ton of things, moving certain chems from one place to another, applying some chems and I would like to use it for stain, but I did not realize there was a bypass model and got a pressure stopper 50 psi at 1.8 gpm. I noticed when I use a brass cone nozzle that it sprays a spectacular spray but cycles the pump a lot so I was worried about heat. On the other side of the fence, I drilled out the nozzle that came with the wand I bought and it blows a great stream with good distance and don't cycle at all as it can release at the proper gpm to keep the pressure switch from cycling it. At any rate the open nozzle would be used the most, but is the cycling going to kill the thing when shooting stain? Last question I swear, what is the best battery to run the thing from a hand cart, is there limits to what I can use? Marine, certain amps, etc? This pump really rocks though, amazing rate for the size.

Penofin ~vs~ Readyseal 8 month test completed

What are you using with good results in the midwest? -
Left is dump valve, right bottom will go to a rinse hose for your hands that will go over to a valve mounted on the door and will get a T in it for clearing a surflo pump, the top right is where I will feed the machine and tie the filter in.

I was just going to post this very topic as well, can a surface cleaner be used on them also or is that to invasive, I suppose the sand is going to need to be replaced as it would surely blow it out? Sorry, not trying to hijak your thread, just thought we could combine them :) -
Has anyone ever removed chipped, peeling latex from concrete without stripper, the location of this stuff will not allow for stripper. How would a turbo with hot water do? Will it tear up the concrete pretty bad?

That picture says a thousand words, thanks a ton.
