I run a 8gpm with a 30" and you can move along rather quickly.. Faster than most probably like to move :)

I would wager to say mine shoots 30 feet without a doubt, however my shooter tips seem to hit a little further, however the chem ratio is nowhere near that of the m5 on the shooter tips. I was told by another pw'er that his old X-Jet does indeed shoot further.

Wow this sounds like a nightmare, sorry to hear about this problem..

I have been using my own percarb mix and it works good, I don't mix the SP with anything but a little soap and it cleans wood right up with even garden hose pressure and no visable damage or ill effects. I get my Sodium Percarb from a local chemical place.

How do you guys normally use Ox, do you try and put it on after the surface has almost dried or when it is fairly wet? Do you do it the same for wood as you do concrete. The reason I ask is I had some tough rust stains to remove and when the surface was wet it would not touch them and I found that odd, but it was on a vertical surface.

2 lbs per 5 gals is what I use. Double vision?

Thanks again! :)

Thanks guys that is most helpful, do you need to rinse it once it has brightened concrete or just leave it on. Ron

How long do you think this thing is going to take me
JustMe posted a question in Residential Pressure Washing
Have to remove the paint from the block so they can repaint it which seems to come off rather easy with just the wand, have not tried the turbo yet. Have to clean all of the prestressed around the windows. The building is about 150x130 and 30' high on the high side. I am figuring around 70 hrs due to the cutins around the windows and after doing a test section. Any insight would be appriciated, don't think I will loose my tail, but I may be low or high in my estimated time. http://frontiernet.net/~hostileone/pw/commcntr/ -

No takers on a guess :dunno: -
Two questions I guess First can someone tell me the the weight to measurement for Oxalic like 1oz=1/4 cup Second does anyone see any issues with storing Oxalic, Sodium Percarbonate, and Sodium Hydroxide in 5 gallon plastic pales inside my enclosed trailer, the buckets have a rubber o-ring type seal in the lid lip. I know the percarb and ox comes in bags and I was wondering if there was a reason for that or if the heat would cause any problems.
-
Thanks, do you know the weight to measurement, how much by measurement equals the weight?

I went out an took and official close look at this and realized it is brick and not stamped concrete, I have liked some pictures if anyone would like to offer advice for cleaning this. I am wondering if just the surface cleaner and hot water would take care of it. Here are the pics http://frontiernet.net/~hostilezj/hpim0627.jpg http://frontiernet.net/~hostilezj/hpim0628.jpg http://frontiernet.net/~hostilezj/hpim0629.jpg http://frontiernet.net/~hostilezj/hpim0630.jpg http://frontiernet.net/~hostilezj/hpim0631.jpg THANKS

Hey Jon that looks nice, do you have anymore information about this product.
-
I asked if they had any intention of having it sealed and they said no as the surface would most likely be slippery than snot :)

There is a hotel in my area that wants the concrete area around the pool cleaned, it looks like an acid stained concrete that is just very dirty kind of white in appearance. They said that it should have muratic used on it but I have no idea and would like to see if any of you guys could offer some advice on cleaning and ratios.
-
Thanks Alan, I totaly agree and someone suggested that I talk with prosoco about some of their products, the reason I am looking for something more for information is I know what muratic can do and don't trust the advice of this guy, I figured if he was so sure he would be doing it himself :)
-
My oh my, did they learn the hard way :)
-
They just want it cleaned, it looks almost like tile so to speak, kind of a stamped and stained concrete. He told me that he was told that muratic cut to 10% is what is used to clean it, but I don't trust a hotel owner with advice :) I stand to get a lot of work from these guys as it is a very nice place so I don't want to screw it up..

I ran them on my Kawi drag bike over my smooth bores, they do let the motor gulp the air. Only problem I ever had was bad cross winds force feeding the bike, but that thing was so open it had no protection from side winds.

That is a good thing, I don't even think we have decks that big around here :) -

Man you are all about them MoNstER DeCks! :D Looking good as usual though.. Do you have to do the bottom too? -
That would be great, can't remember why the tear them down here for sure..

Sounds like you just have the drop in, I have never noticed much in the way of fuel savings with them, however they do let it breath better so they are not all bad. Here is a link to the FIPK's http://www.knfilters.com/
