  1. nastiest pavers to date

Wow! Nice before and after pics.
  2. Wow that still looks pretty darn good. Is that one or 2 coats? Thanks for postin the pics.
  3. Bigchaz what kind of longevity have you been seeing out of the semi trans cedar? Anyone have a pic of approximately 2 year old armstrogn semi cedar they would care to share? Reason Im asking is that I've started applying the semi trans cedar to probably 90% of the decks we do and just wondering what you folks are seeing at the 2 year re-application point. Thanks
  4. Concrete cleaning with Oxalic

That is an excellent idea and even a funnier story! Haha
  5. Concrete cleaning with Oxalic

Hahahahaha I had to laugh about the "drug dealer scale"
  6. Hahahaha Now that is funny.
  7. Same as you. Oily driveways or really bad mold/mildew on crete that has been there a long time.
  8. I was just thinking about ordering some also. Please let us know how it works if you could. Thanks
  9. Payment

Congrats. Man thats gotta feel good. Im still at the point where about 75% goes to interest. Haha
  10. Wow I hope you just joking because that would be a damn miserable day.
  11. My Chemical Solution isn't working

Like Doug said, you arent getting even close to enough chlorine on the house. When using 6% I usually mix 5 gals 6% with 2 scoops simple cherry and that has worked excellent for me. If it is actually mildew this will take care of it.
  12. Does the customer not want you to use bleach? If they aren't against it, I would use a light solution of bleach ds on and go to town with about 800 -1000psi with no heat. Im sure others on here will have someo other ideas for you if you can't use the bleach.
  13. Pre-wet the surfaces in question such as the front doors like mentioned above. I also pre-wet all glass. That should help eliminate the streaking. Not trying to start another debate because I have used both but you might want to look into downstreaming. In my opinion its a lot easier to leave the tank of chems on the trailer and just switch nozzles to go from soap to rinse and high to low. I use a 4 way nozzle holder that bob at pressure tek sells. That way all your nozzles are right there and they don't get lost.
  14. Check out F18 F8 HD80 and citralic. These have worked excellen for me. Others will mention a few other products that work well too.
  15. F18, HD80, or Bleach to clean and strip F8 or Citralic to Neutralize Osborne brush for removing fuzzies if they happen
  16. Give Cleansol from Eacochem a try. Works darn good one oxidized vinyl. Have to bump pressure up a bit but not so far that it will hurt anything.
  17. Thanks. I took a look at your site and WOW some very amazing work.
  18. Thanks for the tip. Was actually going to try mixing some next spring. You don't happen to have a pic of a deck you did that was a blend do you? In my opinion the semi trans just seems to get too opaqe or dark on some of the older wood. Im thinkin a blend is the way to go.
  19. I had just gotten into wood restoration 3 years ago so I didn't use too much of it. Only had trouble on 1 deck that didn't dry but that was still a PITA.
  20. From what I heard, Wood Tux used to be pretty much everyones go to stain in the past but then they had some reliability issues from the factory "decks that wouldn't dry, shiny spots, and also decks that turned black". All the problems made everyone look for another go to stain. From what I hear the problems with Wood Tux have been resolved "would like to know for sure from someone that has used Tux lately because I have a couple of maintenance decks to to with it next spring". In my opinion Armstrong Clark is an excellent stain. I've used it the past 2 years and haven't had any trouble with it I just wish they had a color that is between the Semi Cedar and the Cedar toner. Like I said I've only used it for 2 years but it has held up well on the decks I have it on. That's just my 2 cents Im sure others will chime in that have much more experience doing wood restoration.
  21. Who has used SafeRestore?

Yes safe restore is now one restore.
  22. My general questions!

Call and talk to Bob or Andy and tell them the gpm and psi of your machine and they will set you up with the correct nozzles. Should be able to easily shoot 30 feet high or so with your machine. Attatch them right to your gun or the end of a lance if you need more height.
  23. My general questions!

NO MORE WET POCKETS OR MISSING NOZZLES! (NOZZLES SOLD SEPERATELY) - SPRAY NOZZLES QUICK CONNECT / 1/4 MEG / 1/8 MEG / HOLDERS / SPECIALTY That is the link to the nozzle holders. Im not sure if you can get them elsewhere or not. You can also buy the F13 there in gallons or 5 gallon pails. In your nozzle holder you can put 4 nozzles and soap and rinse right from the ground "to about 35-40 ft high". I use Soap Low 1540 nozzle Soap High 0040 nozzle Rinse Low 2515 nozzle Rinse High 0015 nozzle You might want to check ou the simple cherry house wash also. Works excellent for me. Others might have some other ideas but that's what I've been using for a few years and its worked great so far. Bob or Andy will answer any questions when you call.
  24. Impressive looking pics.
