  1. Few Recent Jobs

Just wanted to post a few pics of recent jobs to see what you guys think and say thanks to everyone that has helped me out over the past few weeks to tackle these projects. Thanks
  2. Few Recent Jobs

Thanks for the comments everyone. Couldnt have done it without the help from everyone on here and other sites. Tegrey-Yes it is amazing how bad people let their biggest investment get. I'd say only about 20% of them have any interest in cleaning the place up too. RPetry- I haven't noticed anyone from the Dakotas on here either. Not too much to see over here in Eastern SD unless you are big into fishing and hunting. Western SD you could probably spend a week and still not see all the sites. Fun place to vacation for anyone. That brown stain is from the sprinklers that have been spraying that well water rust on there for years. I dont know why that one spot was worse than all the others. Once again thanks for the comments and all the help.

  5. Yeah Its me again the man of a thousand questions. I just bought a cheaper Wagner HVLP sprayer from Menards last night. Before I open the box just wanted to get some opinions. Will this work very well for spraying Woodrich and WoodTux products. Here is a link to the sprayer Wagner USA [Wagner Control Spray] It is what the guy at the store recommended but I wasnt too sure. I just didnt know if Woodtux products would be to thick or not or if I should have bought another sprayer "they had a few other kinds but all Wagner brand" Or should I just spend the extra $$ and get an airless. If so which brands do you recommend? Thanks
  6. Thanks for the info. Thats all I needed to hear. It's going back to the store today. Thanks again.
  7. Hello all. Well the weather finally warmed up a bit and I've started getting quite a few calls. Just wanted to get everyones opinion on how much they would bid on my fist 2 estimates. I have already figured the estimates and will post my figures after a few have replied. Just want too see how close to everyone elses figures I am. If you dont want to post publically please send me a pm. The deck is a 4 year old 16x12 with failing stain. Stairs are 6x5. The fence is 40 feet by 6 feet high also with failing stain. Only 16 feet of the fence will be done on both sides. I will be stripping with F-18, brightening with F-8 and staining with Wood Tux. The concrete pics are for a local bank. There are 3160 total sq ft of concrete including sidewalks, parking pads, and drive throughs. The only bad oil stains are in the drive throughs. There are a few very minor stains on the parking pads. I will be cleaning the stains with F-18 and the rest with just hot water and surface cleaner. I just want approx figures. No need to display too much info on a public forum. Thanks alot Kannas Deck 1.bmp Kannas Deck.bmp Kannas Fence.bmp Dacotah 4.bmp Dacotah 2.bmp

Ok newbie here. All these numbers have me confused. I have a 5.5 gpm 3500psi machine. Can someone give me a good starting point for tips to draw chem and to rinse and the approx hight I should be able to reach from the ground using a standard wand. Thanks
  15. That deck looks great! While we're on the subject of Bakers can anyone tell me a good supplier where I can buy the product?
  16. Hello everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself as I am new to the site. My name is Nate and I am from Watertown, SD. This will be my first season pressure washing. I have the equipment bought, the insurance, and the other necessities in place. Ill be starting part-time which will hopefully lead to full-time "seasonal". Ill be doing mostly residential house and concrete cleaning and also wood restoration but I wont pass up any other job that comes my way. Im sure Ill have a ton of questions and it looks like this and some other forums are the place to come for answers. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Just wanted to say hello to all and thanks in advance for the help and advice. Nate
  17. Thanks for the offer Mike. Im sure Ill have a few questions. Thanks again
  18. Just getting started in the biz. Wondering if there was anyone within reasonable driving distance from the Dakotas that would be interested in some free labor to help me get a little more hands on experience/training before my first season. Or does anyone know of any PW classes other than the ones in TX? Thanks, Nate
  19. Mostly residential and wood restoration. I wont pass up any other jobs that might come my way though.
