Yep we have it. It has allowed us to bid (and win) large jobs that required it. It is not required in Texas, but before we got it, we did lose a few bids specifically because our competitors had it and we didnt.

Dickies are something like 60% poly / 40% cotton which makes them very good for bleach resistant. The shorts is what I am having a hard time finding. I dont like dickies shorts, so I go through alot of khaki cargo shorts in a season. We use 100% Poly shirts w/ our logo emboridered, (they cost us $7 to buy and $8 to embroider) and are 100% resistant to bleach. The under armor are awesome too, especially the polos for estimates and what not.

Who does house washes ....
ScottD. replied to David O'Connell Jr.'s question in Residential Pressure Washing
We have the PW, just choose not to use it. Its not a necessity. And Very rarely have I ever seen the need to use high pressure. -
My thoughts exactly. If someone get so worked up over a BBS, theres something wrong with them to begin with. Get a life.

Who does house washes ....
ScottD. replied to David O'Connell Jr.'s question in Residential Pressure Washing
We dont use a PW for house washes. Only the dedicated pump and a water hose. Like Ken said, the only time we have an issue is w/ wasps nests. Then we just climb the ladder and knock em down. Easy. The only time the PW gets fired up is for concrete (sidewalks, patios driveway, etc...) -
I was 22 when we started w/ a pw in the back of my truck. And I am proud to say, it was not a home cheapo PW. We got it on ebay.

One Rig, 2-Man Crew... What's your avg. gross?
ScottD. replied to Craig's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Last year (our first) we grossed just over $80k for the year (or about $6700/month). That was with me and my wife (no payroll). That was w/ $0 for advertising (save for our website, yard signs, and truck decals). This year, so far we are on track to double that (at least) and we have 2 employees. 1 full time, 1 part time... If anyone says you cant make enough money to live on, that person is not trying or their personal expenses are too high. -
Awning Cleaning, Orlando, Florida. Using Mallard System
ScottD. replied to AC Lockyer's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Hey AC. Would you be interested coming to Texas in May for a get together? lol Ive got the chems and methods and everything down. All that is easy stuff. I want to talk to someone about what really matters: The marketing and selling of roof cleaning. We do pretty good, but we're not doing 6 roofs a day. And we definately dont have 40 trucks or 100 employees. lol.- 47 replies
