My wife stopped by our mail center the other day to grab the mail and found this little guy sunning himself just outside the building. There used to be 2 of them. Not sure whatever happened to the other one. This one has been hanging around for about 3yrs now. I remember when this one was small enough to hold in your hand. Our little guy is getting sooo big. LOL.

Hahaha! You wont find me swimming in ANY lakes around here. NO WAY! I used to live near a lake that was in Taylor Park in Largo. There were many people who suddenly couldn't find there dogs and cats. Lots of "Have You Seen This Dog" Signs around all the time.

We have a few like that here too. East Lake Woodlands and The Bayou Club Golfing area is always a great place to find them. I hate having to watch over my shoulder when I'm Pressure Washing a House.

Can A Dirty Roof Make You Sick? Read What A Doctor Has To Say! According to Dr. Victor H Morgenroth, who is a semi-retired adjunct professor at UM the " dirt " on roofs could actually be causing illness. Here is an excerpt from an article that was written by Dr. Morgenroth. Having your roof cleaned actually makes sense. It isn't just aesthetics. While people like to say that dirty roofs lower a property's value and may make it hard to sell, the "dirt" on a roof actually shortens its life span and can even present a health hazard. Furthermore, the "dark stains" on a roof act as a sponge to absorb the sun's heat, which causes a rise in the temperature inside a home or building, creating higher air conditioning bills. The dirt isn't just dust – It's alive. Some of the black or very dark roof stains are caused by a resilient type of algae,Gloeocapsa magma (a type of blue-green algae commonly found in climates with warm, humid summers). The algae grow in standing water, as well as in our lakes and ponds. The algal spores are carried to our roofs from the water sources by the wind and birds, and then from roof to roof where it grows and feeds on the limestone filler in asphalt shingles and the real dirt on tile roofs maybe in some cases the tiles themselves. Worse still, as the algae grow, they retain water and foster the growth of other roof inhabitants. The black stains are also very likely to harbor a number of molds or fungi. Unlike algae the fungi on our roofs lacks chlorophyll. They are unable to manufacture food from raw materials. So, it must get nutrition from some form of organic matter. To thrive, these heterotrophs, who used to be called saprophytes, also require a warm, humid environment. Fungi normally begin their life cycle as an airborne spore that settles on roofs, especially the asphalt-shingle ones. The spores on the northern exposure of the roof stand a better chance of survival because that portion of the roof is the last part to dry after a rain or morning dew. This raises the humidity on the surface of the shingle, thus creating a perfect feeding and breeding ground. The tar used in roofing is fossilized, dead organic matter -- and an important food source for fungi. Asphalt, at the granule base, is normally consumed first. Once these granules dislodge, accelerated deterioration will occur. Ceramic granules represent the outer hard shell that protects against hail and other falling debris. Ceramic granules protect against damaging UV radiation and insulate the roof against extreme heat. So you can understand that their dislodgement by the growing fungal colonies can be detrimental to our roofs' longevity. Surprisingly, the blue-green algae are also food for the fungi. While not all mold (fungi) and algae pose a health danger, some are harmful, especially for us older folks, younger children and people who suffer from asthma and respiratory problems. Their spores, which are on your roof, can get inside your home because they end up on the driveway and walkways from rain, and are easily tracked inside. They can even be drawn into our air conditioning systems and eventually populate our ducts. Different mold species can have varying health effects, but it is important to remember that any excessive mold growth needs to be taken care of, regardless of the species. Any excessive mold growth can lead to increased allergies, toxicity, and house/building structural problems.

We got a call a few days ago from a woman looking to get her two story Pool Cage and Pavered Deck Cleaned. She had called two companies out of the Yellow Pages and neither one was equipped or qualified to Clean her enclosure. She finally decided to do a search on Google and found me. I assured her that we could handle the job and that she would be more than pleased. The house is up for sale and the realtor was coming in the afternoon to video the house. We Cleaned the entire Screen enclosure in an hour and a half. Well before the Realty company even showed up to video the house. She was one happy customer! Here are a few before and after pictures of the Pool Enclosure and Pavered Deck. Commercial Tile Roof Cleaning Clearwater Florida!
All Surface posted a blog entry in Blog All Surface
This is a Tile Roof Cleaning job that we completed this past summer for a Property Management Company. They consisted of 66 two story town homes and 66 detached garages. All were terracotta flat Tiles that had not been Cleaning in approx 8-10 years. The homeowner association contacted us about this project about 3 weeks ago and we finalized it 2 weeks ago. they originally thought it would take approximately 1 month to complete so you can imagine the look I got from the president of the association when I said we would have it done in 4 days 5 tops. We started Cleaning these Roofs on Tuesday July 21st and finished them today at 2 pm July 24Th. Terry Mullens from Expert Pressure Washing stopped by a couple of times to see how we were doing. He didn't bring us any lunch but I still think he's a nice guy. LOL...Here are a few pictures from that Roof Cleaning job. __________________ All Surface Pressure Cleaning Inc. Oh!!! That was sooo wrong. LOL -
I use 12volt and an air pump delivery system. Neither has a bypass. Both are demand. I did however use a Comet pump for sometime with a bypass and had a lot of problems with it.

Florida only pays a measly $550.00 every 2 weeks. The extra $1200.00 per month right now (which is not much) comes in VERY handy to keep us going especially when business for me gets slow just as it is right now. The Government has NO PROBLEM taking our money so guess what. I have no problem taking there $ especially when we need it to survive. No one is gonna look at us as being martyrs if we refused help from the government when we become homeless and are living in a tent out in the woods.

Unfortunately as of about 3 weeks ago my wife fell into those percentages again. After being laid off for almost a year she had found another job and only worked there 8 months before getting laid off again. They laid off 153 people all together and from what we hear they have laid off more since then. Some of these folks got laid off right before Christmas (as did my wife) and many had been there for 10-20 yrs. Merry Christmas! We are possibly thinking of adding another service as well but at this point we are just still talking about it... Trying to weigh out the pro's and cons.

We have a very good friend who has a daughter who was 5 last year. well, Long story short. She was sleeping in a small crib type bed because her mom couldn't afford to get her a real bed. She came home from work one night and found a new bed at her door step. I've never seen two people so happy. Especially the little one. She still sleeps in it today... ;)
