We are working on a deal at a University that could pay big big bucks. It is a dream job that we all wish we could land. I project the project to take an estimate of 4 to 6 weeks the gross may reach $238,000. But we all know how sales go, the deal can go south overnight if the board members do not agree. I feel that some work will come out of it , but it would be so so so sweet to get entire package.

About for the first ten years we also covered a radius of about 75 to 100 miles from home depending on the job. It seems like the last four years we are spreading out our wings a bit more and now covering five states with eyes on two more states. It all depends on how far my team wants to travel, and also keeping our local work caught up. Years ago my wife and I had a vision long term with our pressure washing business and it is now slowly taking shape. The name MIDWEST MOBILE WASHERS would not seem right if we just did work in Iowa.

Hurricain Brush
tony szabo replied to CCHSNC's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Hurricain brush, We have two of them and several spare parts to make a third. Well worth the money. Becareful not to run to much pressure thru it. The feed line to the brush head has hose lines that can not handle a lot of p.s.i. They are not to hard to replace but who wants down time on a job site? Good luck, Tony Szabo running for PWNA board -
I agree with all, everyone has their best formula of soap to wash a house. But always have a different soap or degreser to help just in case your normal formula does not work so well. When we are in the rinsing process we add 2 cap fulls of jet-dry to our 60gallon water feed tank to help aid in spot free rinsing. With this process the windows will dry almost always with no hard water marks. You are the hero to the home owner.

A good time to network with others, go to work shops etc. If you are newer to the business and still need to keep making money in the winter months and still want to stay in the field try the following: 1) Hood Cleaning 2) Fleet washing inside If the customer wants your services bad enough maybe a agreement can be worked out for you to wash inside a heated shop. You might have to give up Saturdays or Sundays to do so but at least offer. Set up with blue tarps and a cable line to maybe help you make a small area in their shop to wash. This may be a pain in the rear but as long as it shows a profit you will not lose. 3) Industrial flat work inside factories 4) Ice dam removal on roofs (I need to learn this process) 5) Like us old timers make as much money as you can in nine months and take three months off in the winter and do what ever you want to! good luck again, Tony
