ACR Products has Safe Restore. I just called to order some and talked to a lady named Barbara. Prices seem very resonable also.

Also check your battery. It may be as simple as replacing your battery.

Nikro Dual Head
sparkie1 replied to One Tough Pressure's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
I have been using my Nikro for over a year now and no problems. I can run up to 250' of 2" vac hose. I would say 250' is about the maximum you can run in vac hose. Never had a problem and use it steady. I do have a 10,000 watt generator running this and a few other things. Also have a new spare Nikro sitting in the shop in case I have any problems. -
Whats the best way to get pump off
sparkie1 replied to jetstream1's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
Check for a set scrw that is torqued down on top of the key. There will be a hole to put an allen key down to loosen. Once you loosen the set screw...then try and remove pump. use two small pry bars and wiggle the pump off. let us know how it goes. -
A special tool is provided when these covers are installed. Tool looks like a 3/4" pipe with a notch cut from the bottom. Put the pipe on the pin...twist and the spring hook will come off. Home owner should have one of these tools or buy one at a pool place. I have the same cover here:))

Just put a check valve between the pump and the tank. Works great. Pump will never start dry and will suck from tank perfect.

Smoke Signals
sparkie1 replied to One Tough Pressure's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
I just had this same problem. What i found was when I opened the ignition transformer....there is two springs....one of those springs were burned through. Ordered two new springs and installed...no more problems. The one thing I did notice after this was i am using far less diesel fuel. Diesel lasts a lot longer now then before. -
Hi Craig.....Can you tell me more about the filter you use??? Thanks
-
All you need to do is replace the O'Ring in the fitting. That will clear your problem.
