You have to do what you have to do to get the job done and make the customer happy so they call you back and spread the good word about you to their friends. I agree, there is no magical method, chemical or machine, most of the time you might have to do some of that "Manual Labor" stuff that people talk about. hahahahahahaha _________________ Superior Power Washing Chris Chappell 361-853-2513 prostaff@superiorpowerwashing.com House Cleaning Driveway and Sidewalk Cleaning

When I go out of town, I take the mini laptop with me because it fits easily into my back pack and don't need another case for it and it is durable. It does have speakers so you can listen to music, lectures, etc...
-
Those mini laptops are great computers. You can read email, load and work on programs, surf the web, etc.... The only downside I found is that they do not have dvd/cd drives but you can transfer files with usb memory cards, no problem.

My New Hotsy Machine
Christopher replied to 4running's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
They do sell epoxy for fuel tanks, I would look into that before anything else like replacing a tank. If it did not work then I would replace a fuel tank. -
Here where I live there are sno cone stands on just about every street corner and they are usually from $1.00 to about $2.00 depending on what you want on them. They are shaved ice, the ice comes in big blocks and they shave the ice.In spanish they are called "Raspas" and are very popular. If I had to guess, I would think that there are probably 50 or so in the city of 277k.Now if you are talking ice cream, that is another story. Baskin Robbins is hard to find if they are even still here, I have forgot about them but they might still be here.We have Marble Slab, probably 3 to 5 locations and they do ok then there is another ice cream franchise but I do not know of any italian ice places here. There are still guys walking up and down the streets with the little ice cream boxes on wheels selling ice cream. Some have bicycles attached to them but there are guys walking up and down the streets along with about 20 or so trucks that drive through the neighborhoods every day.Since it is warm to hot most of the year here, I would guess from March until October the ice cream and sno cone places are doing good, the other months the trucks are not running and the ice cream places are dead.Hope this helps.

Right now we are in a bad water shortage situation. Some industries are thriving and some are going under.Depends on where you look.Pressure washing is up in some aspects and down in others.Overall is slower than last year but there are new aspects showing that I have not seen before so this year might be better than the last one. -
I got the ticket yesterday at a great price. Going there is $109.00 and the return flight is $129.00 before the taxes and fees flying Southwest. They are having their big sale again so get them while they are available!

What weight capacity will the axles be? Remember that you have to think about the weight of the trailer itself when doing the math. With all that equipment on the trailer and the tanks 1/2 to 3/4 full, you might overload the axles. I bent an axle already, no fun and then replacing it and a set of tires is no fun either. You might want to go with stronger axles to be safe. I bent my axle hitting either a pothole or a speed bump not going more than 20mph. I had around 6000 total pounds including the trailer at the time so it is good to have stronger axles for added safety. There was a guy here that loaded up a bobcat onto the trailer and instead of it being over the axles, he put it closer to the front of the trailer and the whole tongue of the trailer bent then broke off after bending the guy's bumper. A little more safe to have the towing package when hauling heavy trailers. -
Biggest trailer you can use
Christopher replied to zhamilton89's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
A lot of parking garages have a maximum height of 6' to 6' 5" so take that into consideration, a lot of enclosed trailers won't make it in there also going up the ramps, hard to do with the longer trailers. There are pro's and con's to both the open and enclosed trailers, this has been talked about many times on all the bbs's out there. You need to see how long of a trailer you can fit where you are going to park it at and go from there. Remember that the trailer length is the bed, you have to add about 4'+ for the tongue of the trailer also. -
