Good luck with web site, I can't wait to get one. As far as the computer problem, down here, we have teenagers that work at Radio Shack that can do amazing things with computers. They take them home and save us bunches of money...lol Tomorrow?....I don't work on Sundays. I'm trying to relive the Mayberry days...lol When I had my on company, (Veneer Mill) I worked Sundays, didn't get me ahead at all and just made me tired on Monday..the one day I needed to be alert, so, if you need me tomorrow, I'll be on the front porch with a bottle of pop. I 'll tell Goober, you said "Hey!"
  3. Standard Operating Procedure

My S.O.P. is the following: Be Honest Be curtious Treat the customer like I would want you to treat my Mom Be prompt Keep equipment is tip top shape Keep good records I keep a journal of conversations with contacts I say thank you (because I am grateful) that's an easy one Mainly I remember, I'm making a living and not just getting up each day to chase a dollar bill. I help others in need. I LEARN something new everyday I try to make it a goal each day to stay off of ladders....lol
  4. Welcome New Members! ..Introduce yourself

Hi, I'm Sam. I just resently starting pressure washing full time after working in the wood veneer business since I was 18, that was in 1979. My primary wood veneer I produced on a regular basis was Eastern Red Cedar. I supplied Lane Cedar Chest Co. and most furniture manufacturers in High Point, NC. My last employer down here in Alabama bought my Veneer operation and I have been running it for him since '02. We resently closed the mill and that's when I decided to pressure wash full time. My Ex Boss also owns a Trucking company and a Logging Company so he is my main customer as of now. I can't wait to show people what I can do with a driveway or walkway. I enjoy reading and learning from each of you on this Forum. I will add what I can when I can. I hope soon, I'm too busy to read to much on here, just catch up on rainy days...lol
  5. I'm thinking, if the truck don't start one morning, you can borrow one to hook the trailer up to and never miss a beat.
  6. I have an open dual axle trailer mounted washer, 18 hp Vanguard, 4.8 gpm with 3000 psi, 12 volt hot box, 2 100' reel mounted hoses and 500 gallon water tank. Pulled by a Dodge diesel 1 ton.
