dollarspa replied to dennis mcguinn's question in Having A "Blast" (sand, soda, dry ice, etc.)
Hi.... I was just illustrating what the hard cost of the tools were......to soda blast..roughly 600 dollars a day (8 hour day)..... the assumption is everyone has the insurance ...they have the truck and they have to travel to any job... whether I pressure wash ....build a deck ..jack hammer concrete or sandblast .......I always have those costs edit: this post is not meant to be snippy or condesending its just a reply and a explaination (I like jeff ...adrian and the grime scene) -

I remember a couple of years ago I talked to bob at pt state about a problem I was having on his board. He basically said "sometimes you just need to walk away from the bbs." I couldnt figure out why it bothered me. I've come to the conclusion ..Its a learning curve. Tony sometimes it okay to dislike someone.....(for whatever/good reason ). If everybody has to like everyone here.... I will buy you a Bus ticket to georgia. (770-474-55**) and you can buy me a bus ticket to about 7 other states (starting with the carolinas.) Edit: this is not a attack on Tony or a defensive of Jim .Its Just a explaination. -

I guess I'm one of those at the bottom of the page. So here's the deal I have talked to jim maybe 7-10 times ( seems like a nice guy) and might have mentioned a couple of time maybe he should alter/remove stuff based on the firestorm that coming back at him. Trust me when I say being banned from any bbs is not a big deal ( you can still get thru life) But being Banned and have everyone talk about you (or be the butt of jokes) and not be able to respond is devestating. (speaking from experience 3 lifetime bans on a bbs forum.) ...more to come still typing -

Their are so many threads that are written about............. that I have no intrest in.... But I dont go in those threads and complain. "side note..I dont know bobby never met or talked to him..have no axe to grind I'm just responding on his point." also I understand where people want threads with more informational value and that will come....Tgs has a rich history and track record of that. Cute story...I post something on *** a couple of weeks ago about umacc . And one particular poster torn me apart what a idiot I was and and go away dont bring this here. here is the funny part ..that same poster/clown is here everyday reading the same posts he was so indignant about at ***.

"This post should serve as a place to tell them what you would like to see happen to rebuild your personal faith in the org." this was the original question ...I answered it.......with my Opinion To Mr Fields and Mr. ********** I wonder if both of you saw the original post if so I dont know how someones opinion could be construed as negative.. unfortunately I can't ask the beth to reinstate the post because I know her feelings about 38 days not being long enough. on a side note I noticed on other boards tonight long drawn out post were made by highly respected people and than they modified it or removed 95% I promise you I wont post after that person saying they were negative .....I assume they had a change of heart as I did......or choose not to escalate the situation....... and Finally to mr.********** and mr, fields...... I know one of you and respect you the other one I dont know and have equal respect for you as well...... -
