  1. Wish List

JL you trying to make history? I would love to see just how BIG you are with that BABY:) Now if you mean your wife having a baby on your BD that is another story, just tell her to hold tight for another 24 hours. My wish is to stay healthy and have no more eye problems. Bad enough being born half deaf.
  2. Yes, you have keen eyes, try to buy the shorter ones or at least match them when installing which I am sure you already do.
  3. PWNA convetion

Mark W. I have seen a few, one so far who was doing reclaim and he was washing Millie's Restaurant, one who could care less about any laws and was washing the USPS trucks and couple just towing rigs around. Let me do a bit of yellow page research and I will Email you more infomation. What part of NM are you thinking of relocating to?
  4. Talking Powerwashing on the Grime Scene

Sheesh John T. I did not know you were around that long! I started with Delco since that was the first board around I could find, I remember all those others and a few that did not survive a year too. Dan F. is alive and well and around someplace. Ron Marshall, not a nice guy, Ron ********** on the other hand is a nice guy once you get past his know it all. I consider him a friend and have spent time with him a few times. Another great guy to get to know close is Scott Stone. THen there is Beth and Mr. Clean, aka Rod, a nicer couple could not be found. Then there are the rest of us, all love dirt and watching it go away one way or another. John T. stop using work to spy on other boards!
  5. Unanswered Questions

So that is what you do all day in school, listen to the Teacher teach those kids all that EDUCATIONAL stuff. Very funny indeed Alan. More more.
  6. Thank you to our TGS Site Supporters!

Message to all, don't forget this should be a yearly thing so mark your calendar for next years donation time!
  7. PWNA convetion

Mark what type of Hotel or Motel do you want to stay at can make a big difference in cost. I figured I spent $1,200 plus each time but both were in Las Vegas so I drove there in 3.5 hours. I would say $2000 is a good number unless you end up buying tons of things.
  8. Hey Beth you should have included under Ford and Dodge both diesel and gas vehicles. Give me a Dodge or Ford diesel any day. Would like a Ford Truck with the mechanical Cummins engine in it. Ah that would be perfect.
  9. I find just replacing the tips is faster then cleaning them saved time on the job. Seems it was always 2 AM when they decided not to work and usually when half done on a job. Buy them by the dozen, cheaper. Also with your Steel Eagle you have to have the bars aligned evenly too, you did get the cardboard tool for that with it?
  10. I quit

New national lottery, weatherman betting ,two bits a bet they well be wrong. If they predict rain the sun comes out, if they predict snow wind comes up. We all know they all use the same reports from the National Weather Bureau. Now this is what gets my dander up, the Military has the extremely accuate weather equipment and they don't share it. How they know to the second what the weather is all around the world. So what is the problem with sharing that?
  11. I Can't Believe I'm the First to Say This...

Beth you mean to say if Remy and I took a cruise we would have to dress up? I don't even own a suit let alone a tie so no way would I dare do that. Guess that leaves cruises out.
  12. Teaching Math.

Here is a synopsis of the evolution of teaching math since 1950: Teaching Math In 1950 A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is 4/5 of the price. What is his profit? Teaching Math In 1960 A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is 4/5 of the price, or $80. What is his profit? Teaching Math In 1970 A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is $80. Did he make a profit? Teaching Math In 1980 A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is $80 and his profit is $20 Your assignment: Underline the number 20. Teaching Math In 1990 A logger cuts down a beautiful forest because he is selfish and inconsiderate and cares nothing for the habitat of animals or the preservation of our woodlands. He does this so he can make a profit of $20. What do you think of this way of making a living? Topic for class participation after answering the question: How did the birds and squirrels feel as the logger cut down their homes? (There are no wrong answers.) Teaching Math In 2005 Un maderero vende un camion de madera de construccion para $100. Su coste de produccion es $80. Cuantas tortillas puede el comprar?

So what was the SPEICAL OCCASION? Yeah I'm gettting personal but you two do look great:)
  14. Privacy on the Internet

Not talking about game cheating or changing the program in anyway here, just wish I knew the word I am talking about but the people that build the programs, programers put cute things into the CD (disk) that are hidden and easy for some to find if they know the codes. I know their names are all there but they add cute things too. Anyone know what I am talking about here? Never had any problems with MS Outlook but keep saying I should try Mozilla, my son has it and says it is fast and better then IE, someday, that old saying SOMEDAY I will try it. Not into gaming and we all know hackers love MS, I doubt MS will ever be able to make a truly safe system, they are just to BIG.
  15. Privacy on the Internet

Guys seems like your using one word to describe two different programs. Outlook Express MS Outlook. Outlook Express is a simple Email program that usually comes built in with IE and/or Office. Microsoft Outlook is a stand alone program and is much more powerful and has tons more options. The only problem with MS Outlook is it somehow piggybacks on Outlook Express, delete Outlook Express and MS Outlook will not work. Microsoft needs to make MS Outlook a truly stand alone program so Outlook Express can be deleted, then the security problem will be half solved. We all know Microsoft is the laughing stock of the industry when it comes to security, never will they make a truly secure program, even the new OS system will have tons of bugs in it. --------------- Now a question for all you computer experts: I know there are hidden files, (using the word files for lack of knowing true word) in almost all Microsoft programs that the people that design them put in, more like fun things then true files but how do you find all of them? I understand there are certain keystokes we are suppose to use to bring them out but again how do we learn them? Are they only on the CD or built right into the program, meaning can we search the secret code from our computer without the CD installed?
  16. Very true about cones and tape, more times then I can count dumb people would just walk around them and then complain that I got them WET. It is then I open my mouth and say Sorry but had you walked behind the cones and not right into my work area when you can see I am working you would not be wet. Then I hit the trigger and let them get soaked. Hey they asked of it and I cannot keep my cool when they are that STUPID. Never had one complain to a manager either. Kids seem to obey those cones more then adults too. Washaway I hear you loud and clear and it is not easy keeping a smile when people do stupid things like that.
  17. Privacy on the Internet

One way to keep your computer lean and clean is clean your cookies weekly or every couple weeks along with clearing old files and history. Sure you will have to re-enter your passwords once you remove the cookies but it sure keeps the spies out of your system. That and download the free verison or buy the Pro Ad-Aware from Lavasoft and run it weekly too. You will be surprised how much spying goes on in your computers. Just remember there is no foolproof way to totally remove all bugs.
  18. Ever think you might be being tested to see how professional you are in your reply from someone that either owns or has the authority to hire companies to clean several locations of the business he/she works for? Happened to me when I was getting back into my truck with the trailer hooked up. Guy got out of a nice car and asked what that "stuff" was so I gave him my card and simply said I clean concrete. Ends up he was the facilites manager for Taco Bell! NO I never got the account as I did not persue it knowing who had it and how well connected he is with someone high up. Looking back I should have though.
  19. Worth a few laughs

VERY FUNNY indeed. Goes to show how people will do almost anything for something FREE.
  20. I need a gun

Um, Phil could you please answer that question.:lgsideway
  21. I need a gun

Phil thanks for all that info about retired cops being allowed to carry. Would this apply to those that left the force for reasons other then good cause? Fair Tax, equal tax based on total income regardless is the only way it should be sort of. Retired people might be allowed some sort of tax break, based on total worth. Tax politicians triple to get back a tiny bit of the stolen money they take from us yearly! New Mexico I am finding out has not law making any gun other then a true machine gun illegal. Want to own a true AK 47, you can buy them here, want large size clips, legal here too! Man what fun at the open gun range this is going to be. The indoor ranges restrict certain caliber guns and for good reason. Ok now Phil who do you know that can say all us good outstanding pressure washing and (retired ones) are good citizens and all being good former peace officers (ok a lie) and we should be given one of those national CCP? Hey guys let's all chip in and buy good buddy Phil a few rounds for his help here:)
  22. I need a gun

Phil says Only way I believe that is possible is if your a Federal agent and I could be wrong but once you leave you are required to turn that in. [Phil your age would put you at a retired agents age range] I know of no state or city or county that offers a full carry permit for all states. I know most, not all but most states will accept anothers permit but from what I understand your suppose to let the local police know you have one. Mind explaining your fully carry permit good for the entire United States to all of us?
  23. Smoking Ban

I think I'll go light up and take a drag just to see what it is all about! No wait back when I was a teenager in High School and College I did a few of those sweet smelling weeds but never got carried away with them. Where is that small sip of wine I poured to help me sleep better? Yes I sip wine but not often. As for all of you don't think I want to regulate your life as I don't, as for being a liberal or conservative forget it, I walk a thin line between them. I see things and say things as I see them, not to please anyone else or upset others but because it is how I see it. I think a few of you have taken what I said personally and if so that is not how I am nor what I am about. In one of my post I believe I said live and let live and by that I mean you do what you want, when you want and how you want to do it but don't put others in danger doing it. Do crack, shot H into your body, tote a joint, drink a 5th if you want that is fine with me but just don't put others at risk doing it. Or put another way don't get plastered then drive home or to work or anyplace. Don't get high then take a drive. Your body, your life so enjoy it as you see fit. Last thing I will say here and that is I don't hate anyone so let's not make this a personal thing. We all are saying what is our opinion and I accept all of your opinions as that, nothing personal about it. Hand extended in a friendship shake.
  24. I need a gun

Jon Fife, No you're not the only SIG guy here, I have wanted one for a long time and might consider that as a replacement for some of the guns I sold. Would not want another 45 or 44 but not because I have them but because I would want a lighter gun to carry and for the home. SPECIALIZED, guess some cities prioritize stolen guns at the top of the list. I have never had one stolen so cannot speak from personal experience, just what I have been foolish enough to read and believe in the papers knowing half or more of it is not true. Beth why not get Rod to a gun safety class even if he would rather not have one around the house? And don't let him tell me just because he towers over others and is solid muscle he can do without learning!
  25. I need a gun

Alive yes but truth is now your responsible for anything and anyone that gets hurt with that gun stolen from the car. You need to make a police report and hope it clears you and how many police departments take broken into car reports today? The police department motto of "to protect and serve" does not mean protect YOU the average tax paying citizen but to ENFORCE the laws, period. That is why they are not around when you see someone run a red light, someone steal an apple or whatever, they are out there looking for big fish to haul in. Oh and don't forget the local donut shop that always has a cop stop by for coffee and donut! For those of you that do not feel people should have CCP (concealed carry permits) check out what is required to gain one. Here in Albuquerque you spend $200 for a full two day course on gun safety, training and target shooting and must score I believe they said 10 out of 12 shots inside the circle. Then you take your proof of passing to the local police department, pay to be fingerprinted and photo'ed, have a background check against you and wait up to SIX month for them to process your applacation. That cost another $100 or so dollars. And there is NO guarantee you will get the permit so you could be out $300 plus dollars. In CA you had to have a compelling reason to want that permit and the amount of paperwork you had to fill out was about two hours worth, then you had to have a letter of good referrence from the local police and that means they have to know you personally. I was friends of the Asst. Chief so was not a problem. Oh then you can only chose ONE GUN to qualify with and the permit was issued for THAT GUN. Ryan I know Atlanta area and the school location well, also the Underground near the Coke muesum since I have been there a few times. Not a good place to be at night indeed. GUNS by themselves are not a danger, it is the sick minded person that uses them that is the problem. To bring up gun control it bothers me that some of those politicians most for it own guns and see it as only US that should not have them. CA has a two females who are the most anti-gun as you can find and one of them mind you has a permit to carry a sub-nose 38, is that fair? I won't get into politics here other then to say if it is good enough for them then it is damn well good enough for all of us. That is as long as no one is a felon!.
