Yes Bob is good and loves what he does also, that makes him put 110% into each unit he builds.
Cannot wait till we see pictures as the unit comes together, make sure Bob takes progress pictures.
And tell him I say hello to him and his wife.

Are you referring to house drains or lawn drains?
If houe drains it would be like a roto tool, if lawn drains most would be so clogged with dirt you would need to dig up those plastic drains and replace them, no amount of pressure is going to break loose 10 feet of hard packed dirt.
I tried i with mine before the gardner ended up digging about 30 or so feet of them up.
Now grease trap drains in restaurants are another story, I would say to that sure invest the money and go for it.

I don't want to hurt anyones feelings but you need sunglasses and shorts here in So. CA.
Been in the 80s, such lovely weather!

About time Reed, now for his R&R at home with his folks.

FUEL PRICES, biggest rip off around.
We here in CA where the refineries are pay more then anyplace else, we support the shipping and lower prices you guys pay for it.
Is it fair, NO but what can we do, NOTHING.
Reg is around or above $2.00
Super much more but don't use it.
Diesel also $2.00 plus
Red dye is going for about $1.65.
Should we surcharge the customers? most companies are doing it, UPS, FedEx and almost all others tack it on, if we tried it the customer would say YOUR FIRED.
My insurance is going up, the notice said as much as 30% more, enough to break the bank. Can I pass that on to the customers, nope as those low ballers again would win.
They talk about things going down, yeah right, but the going down is what we are left with if anything.
Thinking of selling our house and finding an unused CAVE to live in:)

Ok Beth some of those games I have heard of and played, some I have not.
So where are the instructions on how to play?

Just knew it was asking for to much, all I wanted was a Vette! sheesh you think I was asking for the world.

I would have no problem paying shipping cost for a gallon or half gallon sample, should not cost more then $5.00.
Most, not all but most local distributors of pressure washing supplies have private label stuff, some made by local mixer companies, others from major manufacturers with a private label on it, either way most are equal, same stuff, same or almost same formula.
Buy a gallon, pay $40 plus S&H and if you buy more we credit you, what they say, I say no sample to test to be sure it works no deal. Like I said I have spent hundreds of dollars doing that only to give most away.
Ask Alan, I just gave him two gallons that cost $85 plus S&H, product was well known and did not do the job.
I agree we are not in the 60s and 70s but still any well known major company should look at the good will it does, Paul, Alan, Jon any name gets a gallon sample, test it, likes it and post all over the boards how good the product is.
Others listen, others will buy and try and the company grows bigger with more sales. Like doing a freebie job, total job free almost always lands the account.
-
Am I wrong is is the person from a unmentioned company here wrong?
"Samples are available for purchase on the website or you can phone me to purchase smaller (one gallon and 10lb) boxes."
I won't say the company but to me a sample is FREE, to purchase means to buy and that to me is NOT a sample.
Your opinion here folks.
My policy is to try before I buy, every company out there selling supplies and cleaners to us claims to have the BEST product, most to me are pretty standard in what goes in to making that product.
There are some that truly are better I am sure, I have tried a few and if not for the cost of shipping across the country might consider buying them but sheesh a pint sample for testing to be sure it does the job to my and my customers satisfaction first please.

A BEER, thats all, just a beer, hmmm
:bday: Kyle, I bet if you show up and order, enjoy his chat and when the bill comes reach for your wallet, stand up, check all pockets and look him in the eye saying I must have left it home, oh gosh I even drove without my license I bet he buys LUNCH for ya.
Now at 40 I think beer might be to strong, try :coffee: .

I've had them, used them and gave them away, does that help?
Depends on what you need them for really, I found they don't offer much for flat working.
-
Heard that saying but this truck is in my name only, mama has no say so concerning it.
Hey she got her trip to Hawaii so I got my truck, just that it did not get delivered before she got back, bummer as I planned to pick her up in it.
I do love those pickemuptrucks:)
-
But it IS my truck
Are both names on the title? if so better not let her hear you say that remark above or she might say it is HER'S too and change the color.
Flat vs. round running boards, have had both, round are slippery when wet so you might think twice.

Russ your a brave guy to trust that duramax as word on street is they are not near as good as Cummins then Ford.
However we each chose what we like and feel is best for us and no one can change our minds.

The law on hiring illegals has been around for years yet the companies that break that law more then others are meg-corps. They can afford to hire the lawyers to defend against government harrassement and enforcement.
Back in the 60s and 70s while working the uniform business I remember many times those green cars scooping into the parking lot and trying to round them up, the company would hide them everyplace, under dirty laundry, in emptied washers and dryers, inside trucks just leaving, was a joke.
Always happened just before the Holidays, year in and year out.
IF just that one law was enforced 100% and IF there was a law saying no American company can out source to other countries there would be more American jobs saved.
Like I have said before, show me just ONE AUTOMOBILE made 100% in America, 50% or more of those parts are imported so it is not made in America but assembled in America.
I bet our pressure washers are no different, not 100% manufactured with American parts.

John T. That is the machine I talked the guy into a demo when in Vegas last year, at first he did not want to get it dirty but when I said I would never buy if I cannot see it in action he finally gave in.
To be fair they had one of the local PWer's bring his machine so they would have something to hook up to and it really needs as high GPM/PSI as it can to perform correctly.
3000/5 is just not enough, I was not satisfied with the results and would not spend the money for it.
And it weights a ton.

Scott one thing I think got overlooked here, the closed loop system of reclaiming, filtering and reusing the water such as Alan and I have set up.
Would you not include that too since we all know there is no way any of us can hold all the water we put down, would take a tanker truck.
-
So far no problems there, wonder if Ford has any suggestions on how to maintain them?
OR can we install aftermarket bearings that can be repacked?
If so what brands would be best or all equal?
-
The one thing I miss is that humming sound when under a load that Cummins makes.
Ford is so darn quiet I can't tell it is diesel.
I was advised to turn off OD going up grades and use it as a brake on down grades. I do that with the Ford too.

BEyounger,
Some of your wish list can be had, Transfer Flow being the best can install a larger replacement fuel tank as several other places that make them too. There is a place in TX that makes and installs them too, not sure where they are.
I love our Captians chairs, would not want bench sets.
Noise, what noise?
Love the short bed, the Dodge was a long bed but we needed it to tow our 5th wheel with.
Want torque, Dodge now has 600 pound torque!
What I wanted and here in CA I had to explain to every salesperson what it was was an "idle controler" Scott told me about it and would have come in handy during the summers of 100 plus here when I want to keep the engine running with AC on.
Wish I had the filter system for outside air, would remove the smell of smog and other stuff.
What is climatrol for the a.c.?
I have given thought to a larger replacement fuel tank, I mean 29 gallons does not last long.
Andy you can drive with OD on with no harm on level or almost level roads, when going up hills always turn off, that is standard rule for all Ford and Dodge. (not a Chevy fan so who cares!)
I wish the back seat was wider! easier to sleep on when taking short naps. Hey Scott how often do you roll off yours?

Scott in answer to your remark about smokin wacky tabbco and surfer days, well all I can say is THOSE WERE THE DAYS MY FRIEND!.
Just having fun with another guy with a few grey hairs! Besides Dave has to ask his wife for permission to drive it anyway, it is her toy and a nice one too!
You guys mention Ford diesel as noisy, I find that to be wrong, Dodge is yes and from the inside too, my Ford is very quiet inside and not because of my hearing or lack of it either, I can tell the difference.
Doubt me ask Remy she can too!

Think nothing of it Bob, we like you because of who you are, like me being mostly deaf, you talk alright, just sounds funny to me.
If Jim says your ok in person then when are we going to meet you out West?
Jim I have spoken with this guy many times and most people don't understand stuttering can be overcome, allow Bob time to say what he wants before trying to talk back works wonders for him.
After all, Bob had no more say in his condition then I did.
Riiiggghhhttt Boooobbbbb?
