    Hugh might is suggest you call a few guys doing all that and see if you can work a week with each, no pay but you gain experience and can better decide which line you want to get into.

    To try and do all things is fine but you will not be able to do 100% quality in all those fields, pick 2 or 3 at most and learn all you can on them, then do those only.

    Why you will find guys who do fleets only, flat work only, hoods only etc.

    Specialize!

    Hey guys how much should we BILL One Call for mentioning LUBE those wheels?

    One Call, best way I found to do that is with one of those old long nose oil cans where you can point it in and push the bottom a couple times.

    Does not matter that they are still wet, just a couple good squirts is all it takes.

    You mention you need to wash and SANITIZE, exactly what does the customer want with the sanitizing?

    Also not sure about your area but here in the West there are companies that do nothing but shopping carts, they clean, oil the wheels, replace as needed etc.

    Not sure what they charge but have seen them in action, large box truck, 5 guys, water containment mat, own water and they do a whole market in about 2 to 3 hours.

    As far as pricing goes the guys where right on and you do need a helper or two.

    One moves them up to be washed and removes all paper from them, you wash and the other puts them back against the store wall.

    Was a wild child, hot rodding hell bent on beating anything that could outrun a 430 Lincoln engine in a 1960 Ford 1/2 ton short bed with 4 speed, Isky cam, Hooker headers, nice big slicks on rear wheels and more.

    No cop in Santa Monica, West Los Angeles or the Valley had the guts to pull me over, they all knew who I was and that my Dad was a big shot who knew all the right people!

    hey back then BIG business had advantages, or should I say family of Big business owners had special privleges:)

    The only time I got my butt whipped was by my dad when again back in the 50s it was the thing to name your car and the name I picked was after a movie, Rebel Without a Cause. The "Rebel" was painted on the 1/4 panel.

    Man did my Dad blow a gasket, after that word was put out that I was fair game to pull over and did I get tickets, I could not figure it out but I was a teenage rebel anyway.

    Yes I had to go to Juvi court with my Mom and yes I did loose my license for a short time.

    YES I snuck out and drove anyway, hey my bedroom had it's own door to the outside world.

    Those were the days my friends, those were the days.

    So that is why I could not get to you front door last night Alan?

    Just what did YOU DO this TIME?

    I have not done that, not sure it works, that was sent to me and I just sort of passed it on.

    WOuld be a neat trick it it really works.

    Used to be going to traffice court and school wiped out the ticket and there was no fine, just school cost, now it cost the fulll amount, court cost and schooling.

    No I have not had a ticket in many a year but I am a hard driver.

    Luck I guess.

    Yes, in Santa Monica they would march them down Lincoln Blvd. to the big lot where it was held.

    Would sit at the top of the hill and watch them go by.

    And the best part was trying to sneak in!! yeah I got caught and then when my dad found out my butt was smacked raw! Worth it too!

    Did anyone mention those Howdy Doody Hat with that little spinning thing on top.

    Or hats that had ear covers tucked inside so you could pull them out in winter and cover your freezing ears.

    Sheesh you guys are OLD, me heck I am still young, I refuse to grow up.

    Call me a recycled teenager.

    Don't know if this is true, but...

    WHAT TO DO IF YOU GET A TRAFFIC TICKET

    This system has been tried and it works in every state. If you get a

    speeding ticket or went through a red light or whatever the case may

    Get your fine, send in a check to pay for it. If the fine is $79.00 make the check out for $82.00 or some small amount over the fine. The system will then have to send you back a check for the difference, however here is the trick.

    DO NOT CASH THE REFUND CHECK! Throw it away! Points are not

    assessed to your license until all financial transactions are

    complete. If you do not cash the check, then the transactions are NOT complete. The system has received its money and is satisfied and will no longer bother you.

    This information comes from an unmentionable computer company that sets up the standard databases used by every state.

    Ryan your saying it was a gas engine?

    Is the insurance totaling the vehicle or repairing it? Talk with the dealer about a super trade off with the insurance money towards that diesel.

    I always buy diesel, the cost is more but in the long run it pays off not in lower fuel cost as that is not the case here, cost the same or more then regular fuel but in weight towed, performance and all around maintance.

    And already he spoils his wife with a NEW VEHICLE.

    About milage with the dodge, my Dodge Cummins got on average 17 mpg to 21 mpg, the new Ford Power Stroke sucks at best 13.5 mpg.

    Want a Cummins diesel put into this Ford truck.

    Better yet a Volvo diesel.

    Sorry to hear about your lost, most alarm companies have some sort of insurance if it had a kill switch and it failed they pay X amount towards repair or replacement.

    If I were you I would insist the insurance company replace the truck rather then repair.

    Now as for alarms, an old and true proven way is one of those devices that you put between starter/battery and start switch, no matter what he does it will not start since you remove the part that makes the connection complete.

    That and another device I had back in the 60s, it also cuts off fuel, goes between fuel lines, lock and remove, no fuel can pass though.

    Never would I allow the MEDIA to force me to believe what it prints or shows on TV, part of it might be true but all of it, sorry to say but NO not all of it.

    HYPE is what makes sells, take Michael Jackson, we all know he pays off parents and forces them to sign legal papers to never talk about what he did to their kids.

    He will continue to be a free molester and strike over and over.

    If not why is he walking around on bail and not locked up like all others till trial? There won't be one and we all know it besides I think I saw him drop a white envelope as he walked away from the Judge. $$$$$$$$$$$$$

    Faked moon landing? could be, there are enough places in the USA to do just that but I will not go so far to say it was faked or not.

    One example of how the papers are controled, name one that says owning guns is ok, they all push CONTROL/REGISTER/CONFISCATE/DESTORY.

    I don't like to get into politics much as it makes friends become enemies.

    We all have our own beliefs in things and I could list a few here that would end up so political we would forget this is a Pressure Washing Board.
