Excuse me Michael but you need to put that to vote and I doubt we are going to willingly allow you to forever leave us.
Good luck on your next steps up the ladder in life and shall you do as good or better.
Do stop in, you will be missed much more then you really think.

Paul do you really want to go there?
I do believe there is life on other planets, why because if we are here and knowing how we evolved over the centeries why is it not possible that there is also life elsewhere?
I am not saying all of it is as advances as we are, some is far ahead of us, some behind and some equal.
There are those that believe and those that don't.
I do believe.
Oh sorry we spoiled your Christmas, I am sure Santa will find your home! You have been a good boy this year I hope?

For what it is worth Bin Laden is not being hunted down, our government does not consider him a threat.
I kid you not, read it in the paper yesterday and was shocked, I too feel he more then Sadam is the real mastermind behind things and it is him and his friends that are hiding any WMD.
Sadam will not be shot, he will be found not guilty and released on his own recon.
Really now, would we stage things? YES we would, we are no different then any other country except you just don't read about it in the "free" papers.
All news is controled, you read what they want you to read, you see on TV what they want you to see.
Oh one more thing, don't ever think for one minute we do not have WMD.
Now to go read yesterdays phony news this morning with my wake up coffee!

I am sure Dave Olson will post and he is good for several dozen oldies but goodies too!

ROFLMAO,
I guess I am still a kid as I am laffin my guts off here.
How many of the 25 do I recall, 24 of them, the one I don't remember is Black Jack Chewing Gum, must have been in the East only.
As with you, there was no such thing as Fast Food, or should I say that is when Mom would slap some peanut butter and jelly between two pieces of bread and say Lunch is ready and with the Milk in a bottle it got poured into a GLASS, real glass, not plastic like today.
Frozen food, what in heck was that, bad enough to keep ice from melting let alone all the food cold inside the ice box. Want ICE water, hold the glass under the drain and let it fill up with that ICE COLD water.
We did have a private phone line, heck I can tell you today the number we had and our car license number too.
EXbrook 64671 was the phone
7M29290 was the car license plate and it was on an 49 Dodge 4 door.
Remember the starter on the floorboard next to the clutch?
chickens in the back yard, Sunday dinner was always the same thing, yup you guessed it, Chicken and I would go count them on Monday and see one was missing so knew we ate it, however we had eggs by the dozen.
Ok so I grew up on a Chicken farm my dad owned, go to your local meat store and buy a chicken it came from my dad's farm.
Ever eat a nice dinner with that smell hanging around?
Used to drink goat milk, was warm but heck it came from the goat though a sieve to my glass. If I was really good Dad would chip off a piece if ice and put it in the milk glass.
We could talk about the good old days forever, ask yourself this question, could you live today as you did then? no AC, color TV, computers, automatic trans in car and the list goes on and on?
Well could you?

I don't support Wally, sorry.
No I am not sorry, I wish they would disappear.
I found one place that sells them, going to see what they have and how much they charge tomorrow.
I will set a limit on the amount I would pay for one. I mean those old juke boxes go for $4000 up and would I love one but no way would I pay that kind of money. Heck it is ONLY music!

Alan years ago, back when I was in high school and we used to play pinball machines they cost a nickel a game and you could rack up more free games then ever.
Now I am not even sure if those machines give out free games.
Have given thought to buying one of those old machines if I can find the right one.
Wife would prefer a more modern day one, well not to current, she likes Space Invaders and Asteroids.
Question is how much do they cost and where to buy them?
-
Crazy nothing, regressing perhaps but then what about me, I like those games too!
So does the wife so now what does the board call us?
Come on baby let the good times roll!

Alan I was counting on you taking a drive over to my place and doing just that!
Lunch on my but there is no Hooters out here, sorry, oh wait there is in Ontario:)

Rather expensive set up there Alan, that comes out to over $115 per gallon.
I would be stopping and refilling that tank several times per job.
I still like having a 35 gallon tank with 100 feet of hose and a Shur Flo pump to spray it out.
-
I use a 110 volt Shur-Flo pump off the generator since I run it for lights too.
But since you already have the battery you're stuck with it.
Both you guys have nice set ups.
-
Nice set up but a suggestion if you please, return that marine battery for a regular car battery.
Marine batteries are not really made for what we use them for, they are made to be run down.
Just get a deep charge battery. Really, what will happen is that marine battery will die long before its time.

Ron just count to 10 and try again, perhaps it is jealous of your VET!
I was looking forwards to listening to you guys and no sooner do I log in then dinner comes along.
I know it is not easy with a good time frame for both East n West Coast but we try to make it.

Yes an owner who cares makes a big difference but also those
that help keep a board running that count too, the Mods & Techies.
I used to go to several boards, now I this board gets most of my time, a little at PWNA and less at Delco.
Got tired of repeated post in every board and what happens on some of them.
Beth has done a super job so bring in the :bandplay: and some :corn: &, don't forget the :cake: also.
Oh and would someone be sure to have :film: in the camera!

Russ you must have Xray eyes, I can't even see a curb.
I do see yellow hose going though the car and a might big hose at that.

True, you would just hire the hit man to do it for you Michael.
I know your type!
-
Now now Michael that would land you in jail for destroying private property.
It is not the homeowners fault the painter did not pay.
What I would suggest, send a registered letter with proof of reciept giving him say 10 working days to have a bank check, NOT personal or business check in your hands or off to small claims court you go.
As for taking pictures I always take before and after on new accounts. I also try to meet with the owners or managers and show them any damage that was there prior to my first cleaning so they are aware of it.
I had a new account claim I did not get the gum off and was not going to pay, I sent copies of the pictures to both the manager and District Manager, I got paid, the manager got fired for lying.
I still have the account.
-
Sounds like he wants you to do his work for him, might as well tell him your going to paint the house also and see what he says.
Although I don't do that sort of work I would never give a quote or do a job without first meeting the person who pays and seeing the job.
Not putting you down but you should always insist on meeting first.
Next thing you will hear is you damaged the house and are being sued.

Wal-Mart should have offered right off to pay all her medical expenses and offered her a before hours hour of free shopping.
But the Waltons being the greedy people they are that will not happen.
Beth next time some woman grabs what you are reaching for there is a saying for them, just look her in the eye and say "I can see you really will look good in that size" and walk away.
Just say it LOUD enough so everyone hears it.
Let the other gal stand there beet red and embarrased as hell.
Man also do those things but to a lesser extent.

I have a good one but am not able to get the direct link to post, can't send the whole Email with it.
Anyone know how to get the direct link? I can open but not able to copy and paste the link.
So what do I do?

Be thankful it was dogs and not cats, cats have an acid that will not come out, we had to remove the baseboard and support wood and replace all to remove it.
Also try bleach, let it soak into the concrete, pour it down and put an old towel over it, keeping it damp for a couple days.
Dogs do not have acid in their urine so should be not be as toublesome to reomve, still as the othes mentioned you will need to work at it and charge like your Donald Trump!

Eastern time, always Eastern time, it's like you folks just don't stay up late using Western thyme!
Sorry I was not here to join in, but when I got home it was way past that Eastern time so need to try and plan ahead for this chat stuff.

Melissa covered it pretty good, hoses get dirty, why transfer that and all the junk they run over, gum, crap, who knows what else to my hands.
And hoses get HOT too, so do wands if you happen to touch one instead of the holders on them, and when using QC to go from wand to surface cleaner, man ever touch one of those after 10 or more minutes of hot water going though them?
Most important reason, safety.
I use different gloves for mixing my chemicals, rubber ones.

I have tried several brands of gloves, find most are not what they claim, both in size and quality.
I have been using Wells Lamont for a few years and the xl fits my hands good, not tight or loose and they last, not forever but a few month.
The two styles I use are:
Model 4400XL I like this one best.
Model 3300XL is second choice.
Not easy to find in XL, some Home Depot and Lowes' carry them, they can order them if you get the manager and ask him.
Or you can contact Wells Lamont directly but they usually do not discount as they would be in competition with their distributors.
Ask for a business owners discount and offer to buy 6 dozen. You can mix up the amount, they come 6 pair to a package.

Now Matt your not that old and I know it!
See how you have spoiled your kids!
Just think if we all turned the clock back as far as what we require our kids and/or grandkids to do today.
Teach them to take responsibility for their own room and toys etc.
Heck we had a housecleaner but she was told to just shove whatever my sister and I left around the floors in our rooms under the bed and then clean the floor.
Life sure has changed in the years gone by.
