Hi Two questions on this post.... 1) My machine is currently set up to fit a 1/4" hose but we would like to use a 3/8" hose instead....Can this be done/reconfigured?? 2) If we have the motor and water on full force w/o pulling the trigger, can it run like that? Thanks for all your help!!

Does the hydraulic hose come coupled or do you put the coupler on yourself? if so, how do you do that?

Hi- Where does everyone get their replacement hoses from? We need one for a job this weekend and so we need it A) Fast but also B) Fairly priced. Any suggestions welcome. thanks!

thanks for all your replies. I'm thinking it was just a faulty hose. I just wanted to get a feel for whether this is a common problem/we should stock up on hoses! i think i will look into getting a replacement that has a much higher psi limit..and yes, it is under warranty. thanks!

hi The hose was the one that came w/ the machine...a 2600 psi on a 2400 machine...?

hi Yes, the hose was for 2600 psi and ours is only 2400...so i don't that is it...maybe it was just defective, but thought i'd check to see if this is a common problem... FYI, it is the hose that came w/ the machine..

hi this is probably a really "newbie" question...but this past weekend we were out on our first "practice" job and the pressure hose sprung a leak within 5 minutes...we can't figure out why/what we did wrong... Does anyone have any "troubleshooting" tips? How often do you go through pressure hoses?

Hi Looking for some advice on Licensing/Registering the company name. Is this something that would go through the state Chamber of Commerce? Or your local government? we are the VERY beginning stages and are pretty much just practicing/learning/studying at this point. However, i was advised to register the name if it will be mentioned at all. Is this expensive? I'm sorry if there are already threads on this, i'll be sure to search. thanks.

Hello A partner and I are starting up a small power washing company in Chicagoland. "Best Under Pressure". I am looking for ANY general advice on starting a power washing company... More specifically, tips on getting customers! Where do you advertise? I am currently looking at flyering, yellow pages (print), yellow pages (online), word of mouth, "money mailers" (coupon mailers), newspapers, etc... Help please! :)
