I have been using zeta 40's for 2 years now but keep having problems with the diaphrams getting chemical damage once they go so does the pump. Started replacing them before they go bad but that costs me 150 per. Is anyone using a buffer to clean or nuetralize the chrlorine. I was wondering about running something through the pump that works or getting these manufacturers to produce something that doesn't need constant replacing. I will not use low flow sureflows or other electric pumps. I want high volume fast and effective equipment. I'm not looking for know it all smart remarks from people who don't have any real info. Let's bounce some ideas around and learn from others with real experience.

Awning Cleaning, Orlando, Florida. Using Mallard System
pressure247 replied to AC Lockyer's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Terra, can't ridicule your success but lost a job to you 4 miles from my door. You are located 200 miles away from the job and beat my price. Madison chase community. You sure you are making money with duck sauce? They had very little gutters and you left the landscape dead and drip lines all over the walls. Not sure if you knew that, but just making you aware. If you sub contracted that one, make sure they are a little more careful. Might be repainting for the next job. I'm not bitter just don't appreciate out of town LOW ballers. Looked like a splash and dash back to Terra county to me. No special chems were used for that job. What's crazy is I cleaned that community 5 years ago for 30% more than what I bid this year.- 47 replies

How do you get referrals?
pressure247 replied to Little Buddy's question in Residential Pressure Washing
I like to give customers I meet face to face some extra cards at time of payment. Most of the time noone is home. Best bet is asking the customer about neighbors once you have scheduled the job. Pass out cards while on the block and do what the customer expects. Some people will work for you others will not nor should they. Be easy to find. Get there first. Be on time. Protect plants. Don't think for a minute "they won't see what you missed". Our business is tough, you have to be tougher and do more when asked, but don't let em take advantage of you. Referrals are nice when they come from other good contractors. Align your business with good people not scum bags. Don't settle for less than what you deserve and know your job! Last but most important, forcefeed your website to your community! -
