  1. Hi,

What is the difference between muriatic & oxalic (?) acid. What are the pros and cons of them. I spoke to someone at delco a while back and they told me what to use for cleaning asphalt & concrete. However, I do not remeber what chem. they recommended. Any ideas? They did say use less on asphalt due to it being more pourous.

    please advise

    thank you

  2. Hi,

I spoke w/ delco a while back and they mentioned something about cleaning concrete and asphalt driveways. Do you guys use hydrochloric acid ? Is there such a thing? What is best for cleaning oil, etc from asphalt and concrete drives. Also, can someone please give a break down on th ebasic acids (pros & cons,, etc.)

    Thank you in advance

  3. How can you be sure a customer is satisfied? h/o said things loked okay and gave me a sizeable tip. They had a very large concrete patio 20+ yrs old with potted plants everywhere. Therefore, I left a few small dirt streaks because when plants got wet, they leak. Some of these plants were too heavy to move. Also, in front of the garage doors , there were mold stains ( green and back spots) that I could not get out. What type of mold was it? Aside from those two items everything else came out beautiful. Lastly, she had another p/w co. in there a few years back. She was not satisfied with their work. They damaged some of her plants. There were a few potted plants that she said were bent and was not a big deal. This was a fairly wealthy lady (husband is professional) and basicaly has a full-time job scheduling contractors.

Your thoughts on my job description.

  4. If you were p.w a house and using a berm made of vinyl pool hose filled with sand, where on th eproerty would you lie the berm? I suspect towards the end of teh briveway or walk way. Also, how could you direct the water to the lawn or "greenery area" for some sort of water evaporation? Have any of you guys created a good & inexpensive way for water evaporation ? I figure this is easier & less costly than reclaiming.
