I've been asked to do it before. I turned it down because I wasn't too sure on how to do it. If it's what I'm thinking about you make up a liquid mix and pour it into the breaks between the concrete pads?
-
yea, but you live in CT? you buy it locally?
-
I found a pool place that will sell it to me for 16.99 a five plus tax. After reading your post I'm assuming that's a good number?
-
I told them I wanted to buy at least 30 gallons, so I was hoping to get a quantity discount. Maybe 30 gallons isn't a large amount to them?
-
Does anyone know where I can get some 12.5% in south Jersey? I have called a couple of pool companies but they want to charge me $5.00 a gallon,

I don't know if anyone will comment on this but I thought I would give it a shot anyway. I have noticed that a few of the local strip malls don't really have anyone clean their sidewalks or storefronts. So my question is, how would I go about approaching them in order to obtain their business? I don't want to go in with an outrageous number that they never consider me or a number so low I don't make any money. I guess I'm just looking for a little insight on what to charge or how I should go about figuring what to charge. thanks mike

is it normal wet areas multiple times if the mold/mildew doesn't come out? or does it mean I'm just not using the right mixture?

I have enough paint sprayers. I'm looking to expand my business into pressure washing. Just trying to figure out how far I can go with this machine. My prospects look pretty bleak, not that this is a bad machine. Hopefully in time, I'm going to invest in a skid mounted hot water machine that can mount to my trailer. I appreciate all the help. Especially Russ, thanks for all the info but I'm sorry you talked me out of getting a new pump. Haha. mike

what size pump can I run?
MPPainting replied to MPPainting's question in Residential Pressure Washing
what would be my benefits of running 5.6@2500? or the disadvantages? -
What size pump can I run off a 13hp motor? I called the manufacturer and they told me that what I had was the largest I could run. I've seen bigger pumps on the same motor? I'd like to put at least a 4 gpm pump on? Any insight on this would be great. It has an AR pump right now. thanks mike

my .02. I tried simple green today on my neighbors gutters. it works, but it takes a lot of effort to remove the stripes. A LOT OF EFFORT. and i gave up after about 10 minutes, i only got about 8ft and you could still see them. it was definitely cleaner then the rest. but not good enough

when you say flatwork, what are you referring too? a house that big would take me a few hours. lets say I replaced the pump, would my motor be able to push more than 4gpm? it a 13 hp honda.
-
I have a 3.5 gpm machine. Is that a big disadvantage to me? All the threads I have been reading keep talking about a 4 gpm machine is necessary. My last machine was a 2.8 gpm, so this is upgrade for me. I used that machine for 5 years, but basically to "wash" down homes before they were painted. I wanted to move up to something that would provide more power and volume. I was looking to open myself up to other oppurtunities with this new machine. I hope I didn't make my decision to quickly, it is a hot water machine though.? mike

quick connect or twist connect
MPPainting replied to MPPainting's question in Residential Pressure Washing
sorry. It's for the pressure hose. instead of pulling back the collar and slipping two hoses together you would "screw" them together.
