Yes it is very nice but you would not like to spray in 20-30 mph wind gust not fun! -

I use the Baker's Gray Away like most of you know and a whole lot of it between retail and applicating. I'm already going through 120 gallons a week and it's only April! -
When I have due to weather also..

One for the "Woodies"-Don't ya hate the grey colors??
seymore replied to John T's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
I just like to give enough options to the colors i carry. Too many options makes it to difficult for color pickers. Reddish brown ,brown, golden brown ,gold and Gray. I'll special order an Ebony if needed to go with Ivory. Woodie only 4 Ever BDA 4 LiFe -

Good place for that like button .....my beard is Gray so i'm the salt of the pepper! Hey i'm not the one who has to look at it so if the homeowner likes Gray then I like Gray. Different strokes for different folks.. -

Stock and Price Re-evaluation
seymore replied to Tonyg's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
My stain price have increased over last year and has effected my retail and contractor prices but not as much yet on my applicating cost. Older drier decks, fences I tend to charge more due to the lower sqft /gallon but it varies on the job. I like the fact I can order a pallet of stain 120 gallons from Plano for a little over $100 the next day by ODFL trucking Co.. Now I'm ordering about 2 pallets a week already! I sell quite a bit retail now than I have over the years and growing. So having 100's of gallons on hand makes it easier for my application company to have stain on hand for jobs. Rick I'll leave touch up stain also if I think they will actually touch it up . Some homeowner would rather pay me to come touch it up when i'm in the area. BTW I like to stay around 50-60% on net margin when I can on jobs doesn't always work out that way but I try hard to... -
You should have got your cat to model in front of it ...:cat:

Wet Wood Stain
seymore replied to pdmcali's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
I would stick with an oil base stain but you just have to wait till you get some dry weather. One day deck stains are waterbase and i think decks dry out when stained with waterbase stains. I did see this in Lowes but don't know anything about it but's almost $40 a gal  -
Small Cedar Fence with Cedar Dark
seymore posted a question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Here is a small 1500 Lft with new cedar fence with top cap I stained Fri and finished today. I stained it with Gray Away Cedar Dark and took 65 gallons. I was able to get about 140 sqft/gallon which is great being I was dealing with a 20-30 mph wind. It's nice to have a fence builder to get jobs like this since he doesn't want to mess with it. I usually don't get less than 1200 Lft fence jobs from him! -

Here is a small deck I stained today with Gray Away Cedar Gold.It was last stained 2 yrs ago and like all my maintenance it was cleaned with light 12% and soap. It took a little under 5 gallons. This was the 4th time I've stained this deck 4 time over the past years love these customers! This was a job that got sent out a reminder during Dec.
