  10. If the wood is very old a solid would be a better choice....
  11. I've seen a guy post some pics son a deck he put that stuff on for a customer on Facebook. I think it's ugly and just not right for wood it turns a wood deck into a composite deck. I could see it losing it's bond to the wood eventually but how long? I'm guessing you apply more on if it peels? I would never apply that stuff on a deck myself it's almost a woodie sin to be honest......
  12. Too much drama

If I see a thread and can read between the lines at a post taking jabs at some one I'll pull it before it gets started. It's always a snowball effect that never stops rolling! Can't we all get along...... RIP Rodney King...

  18. sikkens problem

Welcome to the TGS USApowerwash...Please add your signature to your profile forum rules. Do you know for sure it's Sikkens? Well if it has Sikkens and he doesn't want to strip it then just use Sikkens on it again. I've never worked with Sikkens but someone will chime in on the cleaning and recoating of SK. How long have you been working restoring wood? Do you have any pics that would help?
  19. Well if you inform her how it's nightmare to maintain an acrylic stain it will cost more $ in the long run by using that type of stain. Most homeowners see that long 4-6 yr life of stain they claim to have is all fluff and so misleading. Show her how the cost can be lower to re stain in 2-3 yrs to maintain a deck with AC vs having to strip an acrylic off. You need to get some pics of the AC stain on decks and show her what a professional stain on decks looks like.
  20. Thanks Rod! These fence jobs are always challenging when the wind in the neighborhood is brutal most of the time. I'm protecting more property and plants etc that anything very tough at times!!
  21. Thanks John! Wood restoration is an art but man it's the best repeat business you will ever find with no advertising!
  22. Here was one of my favorite size fence jobs that took over 200 gallons of stain. 6'-1/2" tall with top cap 2100 Lft x 2 sides
  23. Yeah it was a nightmare trying to get set up as a vendor needing some crazy insurance just to stain the fence. So I ended up working for the developer Caldwell Co. and Toll Brothers pays Caldwell.I like it that way some builders take forever to pay but not Caldwell 30 days no longer. Well I had just finished 1500 lft x 2 sides a few weeks ago " i'll post those later" and just found out a fence builder has 4K Lft only 1 side for me to do when I get the stain in another 200 gallons.
  24. Oh yeah I stain the house farthest away a few weeks before they put up the fence I stained that day. I'd say it matches pretty good?
