  6. Mostly me 140 gallons on 1500 lft x 2 side start 2100 lft x 2 sides tomorrow that should take 200 gallons. I sell a lot to homowners tho who stain their fence themselves or hire cheaper labor. I don't ship from here in Houston if I ship it's out of Plano.
  7. I sure am and lots of it too ordering 120- 240 gallons a week.
  8. Yep that pretty much sums it up Rick! Man that's some woody porn there ...... The toes on your sneaker curling up look like how my shoes get when the stain dries them up!

  10. Now that's funny!! nothing but wood.....
  11. The BDA approves and endorses the use of bleach for your cleaning needs as long as it's used at the right strength as not to waste it!
  12. Please watch this video

Nice video... You have a pic of the deck floor stained after 3 yrs? I'm guessing you using the Wolmans cleaners too that looked like it cleaned up pretty easy? Man that 10 GPM pump kicks butt and it does look like it's more pressure than 1500 Psi the flow is crazy . I still cringe when i see a wand go that close to the wood but that's just me..I like to stay higher and get closer if needed i'm only 4 gpm tho. You use only Wolman's stains on your projects? Do you strip them when re staining? Thanks and nice video again...
  13. I normally use weather.com but now i need flash to use the interactive radar and I'm on I-Phone who doesn't use flash. I also use our local t.v weather site that somewhat ok and also NOAA.gov Thanks for the link that site looks cool i'll check it out...

  17. Thanks Rick I'll leave that book writing up to Beth .....
  18. Maintenance ...Maintenance ...It's how our business was built using one of the most easiest stains to maintain. I think there are enough easy maintaining stains Ie: BGA ,AC ,RS ,TWP now a days for companies to be very successful these days. Also for homeowners to maintain their deck themselves once they have it done by a professional if they decide to save $. I have no problems providing the stain for my customers they might do it for so long then they get older and decide to pay me to re stain again. There are the stains that's supposed to last 6 yrs plus and are nightmares to work with,It's a shame those bad products are sold to inexperience homeowners. Thinking it will save them $ and time from having to re stain it every couple years. Then they have to pay us to save their decks from a coating that is a nightmare to maintain. We all want our stains to get along with wood to make our job that much easier next time we clean and re stain whatever brand you use.
  19. That sounds like it was a fun job... I've never thought a product that was tough to strip made it a good product especially when it comes to maintaining it?
  20. The one and done is so true Rod on some stains/coatings! Sometimes it takes you to break the bond of the coating then multiple applications are needed. Why test areas are so important then I get fooled every now and then but testing helps.
  21. Now that's funny Jim! I have to stir the Gray Away up the pigment quite a bit and it's made in South....
  22. Did it have Rosewood oil in it I think it was? I remember guys talking about mildew problems now that you mention it Phillip. P.S that's a cool dog in your avatar what kind is he or she Samoyed?
  23. I've heard of it mostly used in the NW I think like Portland/Oregon area up that way. I forget what type of oil it is I couldn't tell from the web site it said some 3 types of oil system for the hardwood stain? You have pics of what you cleaned?
  24. Troubleshooting/bypassing thermostat.

Yes I see that Andrew i'm not sure why it shows up in your profile and not in your signature? It could be from the last server switch or something? You could try to delete it and try adding it again and see if that works. Thanks
  25. Troubleshooting/bypassing thermostat.

Nope I took over John's Super mod position and i'm just being fair to all the new members who have to add a signature. It's the forum rules for all members not just new members so everyone should follow TGS rules.
