Yup, T George Podell puts on the stainless front cover. The Mi T M skid is a good machine. What year/model is it, and how cheap ?
-
Is it a Mi T M skid ?
-
Tom Durbin is a good man. There skids are Mit I M's. But you can build your own trailer set-up for 50% less than what T George Podell wants for there units.

Product for cleaning oil from driveway?
Jim_Cooney replied to Lateralus's question in Residential Pressure Washing
The issue with asphalt is that asphalt is a petroleum product, and is dependent on it's oil content. Use of heavy degreasers will ruin the integrity of the asphalt, and if you spot treat the oil stains the chances of those spots being even more noticeable is very probable. Actually the oil on the asphalt will not do any harm, besides being unsightly. If your driveway is asphalt and you want the oil spots to go away, I would suggest buying some coal emulsion seal coating product, which can be obtained at Home Depot or Lowes, etc. Do Not water the product down. It's simple to apply with a roller or mop. Be careful not to get the product on anything but the asphalt. Wiring an electric hose reel.
Jim_Cooney replied to Bennyhonda's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
I have both of my Hannay reels connected to 1 of my skids batteries. Didn't see a need to wire each to a separate battery since I would only be using 1 reel at a time. Never had a problem with battery drain. I do reduce the stress on the reels by straightening out all 300' of hose, then looping it in 100' sections near the trailer, always with the ball valve and coupler at the trailer. I've made it perfectly clear I ever catch an employee dragging my ball valves/couplers on the ground their jobs are in jeopardy. -
What is the biggest challenge to your business right now?
Jim_Cooney replied to Beth n Rod's topic in Business Topics & Tips
What is the biggest challenge to your business right now? The commercial real estate market in my area is averaging 40 to 50% vacancy rates, due to the economic downturn. Thus Property Managers do not have the money to spend on scheduled maintenance. What can you do or did you do to overcome that challenge? In some cases, I have eliminated my initial cleaning rate, and offer quaterly service rates. Was your effort successful and why or why not? It has secured me enough work to stay afloat. If the challenge is beyond your control what are you doing to try to manage your business in spite of it? As stated above, my profit margin has suffered some, but better to make less per job than to have no jobs at all. Where is your business right now compared to where you thought it might be at the beginning of the year? Exactly where I expected, maybe 20% better. Where do you see your business in the next 12 months based upon your specific area? If the volume of contracts continues at the same pace I have experience since the first of this year, 2010 should see an increase of business by 40%.
