  1. which is better? To me they both seem to do the same job. I currently have neither, and am wonder which one I should get. Any and all comments, pros and cons for each, etc would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Hi, I am selling my pressure cleaning company due to the fact that I am switching careers. The company is based in Palm Beach County, customers are basically based in the Lake Worth/West Palm Beach Area. The company has been around for 11 yrs this Dec. Client list is 350+, and all the work is long established repeat business, and word of mouth. $0 in advertising is needed. In fact I did get a larger ad in the yellow pages last year to see if it would do anything, and it was a waste of money. This is perfect for someone just starting out, or someone who is looking to expand. It is very turn-key, just keep the same phone number, and you will have pleanty of work, especially starting now when the snowbirds are starting to come down, it is like Spring cleaning, it gets very busy from now till the end of the year. I have a 5x8 open trailer with a fold down back gate, and a 225 gallon tank, and an old 35 gallon tank which could be used as a chem tank. I never got around to setting up the trailer to do chemical washing. The trailer is less than a year old. The trailer has no hose reels on it. I never got around to it. The unit is a few months old (my old one got stolen). It is a 20 hp honda, 5.5 gpm, 3500 psi. There is less than 60 hours on it, and it is a cold water machine. It comes with a 19" whisper washer surface cleaner, 3 wands(one new never used), and a 3' extension wand, and 24' extension pole. There is 150-200' of house, and about 150-200/ of hose that hase a hole in it which is an easy fix. The tips are all brand new, I have 2, 6 gal gas tanks one of which has never been used. I believe I addressed everything. If I left anything out, let me know. I am looking for a fast sell since customers are calling me for work now. Whoever buys they company will have at least 5 accounts waiting for them. Asking price is $35k. Any reasonable offers will also be considered. I am mostly looking for someone who wants to expand since my customers are long established customers, and are used to good work. Please feel free to call me at 561-434-0997, or email me at ceckert502@aol.com. If you call, please leave a message since my phone doesnt always ring. I also don't have any pics of the trailer, but it is pretty basic, a unit, a water tank, and some hose. I never get to add on the extras. Thanks, Chad
  3. I was wondering if anyone in the Palm Beach County area, and has an xjet or shur flow pump would be interested in showing be how they work on a job I have. I have a spanish tile roof to do next week, and I believe that using either an xjet or shur flow pump would be alot quicker than my current method. If anyone is interested, we can work out some kind of deal. Email me at ceckert502@aol.com.
  4. black mildew on brick

After I clean a brick/concrete surface, I then rinse to remove the lose mildew/mold, then I spray a mildacide on at the end. Didn't mean for it to sound like all I do us use water and leave. I am always looking at new, faster, safer ways to clean, especially on roofs.
  5. black mildew on brick

Have you tried just using the pressure washer. I have alot of mild and mold on my jobs. I only have a cold water machine, but it comes off with just water and no chemicals. I rarley ever use chemicals except for rust and tanin stains.
