  1. Last evening, Tonya and I got to meet Beth, Rod, their family, Roger, Celeste, and the puppies.

It was great to finally shake hands with the folks I've had the pleasure to speak with and learn from in the past...(Always is)

Made it home safely and little Miss Cocoa loves the girls and her canine brother Moogley...

I swear I saw a tear in Roger's eye when he said his goodbye to Cocoa...BUT she's in good hands.

Cocoa, Moogley, and I are listening to the Panthers play until I go clean some banks.

Thanks for the hospitality Rod and Beth. Roger and Celeste, thank you for the pup, she made us laugh the whole ride home.

  2. That is just showing off Celeste!...Nice use of skills and resources. I remember in school building a project with a bucket of joint compound....got a B+....wasn't quite cured and the isthmus made two extra pennisulas.

Is it topographical to scale or just the basic outline of South America?

  3. Sorriest thing is the 'leadership' issue at state levels can be just as frustrating. In PA we have a governor who has done some good things but, in the same respect has done some questionable things. Twice as many lottery options, raised taxes with the promise of relief once slot machines arrive...conveiniently after the next election, his focus on his old stomping grounds, and to top it off he has been more concerned with the Philthedephia Eagles than his own constituents.

The mudslinging at our senator level is getting ugly...Santorum threw the first punch...

Considering the source of the information plays a role, but, sometimes our 'instilled' beliefs cloud our judgement.

An educated choice is the best choice.

Most important thing is to vote period. WEW may not like harleys but he makes a valid point about voting.

  4. knock on wood, I've never lost either trailer, but I have run out of fuel going up an incline on a fairly busy highway.

Having learned from a friend's mistake I double check connections at the first stop....hey "f" the guy honking the horn behind me, its for his safety as well.

Actually my 'new to me' truck has a nice reminder to verify connections...a big ole dent mid tailgate.

  5. Florida is a vacation/retirement destination.

as far a my APW skid....I've had issues with it and the expenses incurred did hurt, was it RPC's fault??? No, he didn't assemble the machine nor was he responsible for aquiring the suppliers for the components.

    New coil...burner fuel pump..."powdercoating failure"....leaking tanks....

Machine works great now thanks to consults with Steve and Bob.

  6. Well I'm from Boston but just another damn yankee living in South Carolina GO PANTHERS:lgsideway

Don't jinx them......:lgsideway .......Can't argue with SI....they picked the colts and the panthers for XL......guess we are one week closer...

The colts were just outplanned...the Pats.....they've had their chapter in the book.....

If I wasn't as committed to my location my blue blood would be in Charlotte.

Its my sister's fault really...she live there first.

  7. about the original post....the company whom Ken has "brought out" is one of our competitors....Though their techniques leave them out of the loop, they do have a TV commercial on late at night....during UPN's 10:30 pm programming, 'king of queens', 'everybody loves raymond'....

From my own observations their equipment sits more than it is ran. In their defense their was snow on the ground in the video....so anything over 40 degrees would tend to create "steam"
