All very good points! Thanks guys. Steve

Same here but some people have a cow if you start talking about cutting their trees. Thanks for the input though, Jon. I really appreciate it.

The Wal-marts around here have 6.15% but the outdoor bleach at lowes comes in a container that is 96 oz....I think. It says it will make up to 30 gal. It does not say what the S/H % is. I'll have to get the msds to find out. Thanks guys, Steve

Is there anyone from the Houston area that knows where I can get some liquid chlorine? I have only found one pool supply store in all of Houston that sells it. It is 10% and sells for $12 for a case of 4 gal. HD also has it for about the same price.....Too Much! I did find some outdoor bleach at Lowes but wasn't sure if this would be as effective as chlorine; especially on asphalt shingles. Thanks to all, Steve

Do you guys ever encounter this problem and what do you do? A lot of houses around here have huge trees shading the houses and in some cases are actually laying on the roofs. What do you do if you are trying to x-jet chems onto a roof? I am concearned that the limb and leaves might be damaged by the chlorine. Thanks, Steve
-
Thanks Mike and Ryan. That helps out tremendously!

Most of the roofs around here are asphalt shingles and when I say "castle", I mean they are not just 2 sided but more like 8-10 different sides and angles. I was wondering about the price because for the most part I will be on the ground with my x-jet so the pitch doesn't really matter. I know most of you guys charge x-amount for a reg. pitch roof and a little bit more if the pitch is greater. I just didn't know how that applies to someone on the ground with an x-jet. Sorry I was unclear about that. Thanks again, Steve
-
I was wondering if you guys still charge more for a steeper pitch roof if you are shooting it on with an x-jet? Also, some of the roofs around here look like the top of a castle; so, exactly how do you go about figuring out sq/ft? Thanks, Steve

Crystal Clear Professional Ext. Window Cleaning Gun
H2OWizard replied to H2OWizard's topic in Window & Gutter Cleaning
Nope, that's not it. It looks like a regular gun you would buy at wally world or somewhere but the handle is filled with de-ionization pellets that soften and purify the water. The company says you can use regular dishwashing liquid in it then flip the switch to rinse. The window washing company that uses it says it is their best marketing tool 'cause the magic is not in the soap but in the wand. BTW, ordered my x-jet from you the other day...was wondering if I upgraded my unit, will I also have to upgrade the x-jet? Steve -
Crystal Clear Professional Ext. Window Cleaning Gun

Starting to think that myself. The company that I got the info from initially, can't be reached either. I had the specs on the gun but lost 'em somewhere. I guess I'll take your advise and see if the attorney general can help me out. Thanks, PressurePros. : ) -

Has anyone heard about this gun? I think the company that makes it is located in the Dallas area but cannot remember for sure. I ordered one a couple of months ago but they said it would be on backorder till August. My problem is that the 800 number I had for them no longer works and 411 says they can't help.....and I REALLY NEED to get hold of them! If any of you guys have heard of this company or it's product and know how I can get hold of 'em, I would really appreciate the info. Steve -
Thanks Ryan, I believe I will go ahead and order one. : )

Thanks Lance, I appreciate it. John, I really appreciate the info. I assumed it was something like that but wanted a professional opinion. Thanks again.

Hi everyone, I am new to the game and just had a question. I have been reading through all the forums and still haven't seen the answer. Here it is; if my machine has a chemical injector on it already, do I still need to get something like the x-jet? I know this is probably a simple minded question for most but I would really appreciate an answer. BTW, I have never seen a group of professionals more passionate and energized about their work than all of you. The fact that you are all so forthcoming in sharing your wisdom puts you in a class by yourselves. I have learned alot from reading all of your threads. Thanks again, Steve
