For those that accepted for truth that the PW NA was not shopping bmp's to muncipalities, check the last page of this document. http://www.sactostormwater.org/documents/brochures/PressureWasherBMPs.pdf

This whole thing has turned into a huge joke Charlie. There will always be suckers that fall for this kind of stuff. Can't fault someone for trying to make a buck I guess.

This is the contact info for the convention that RH is referring to. Maybe some would like to let them know that the info presented is not done with the approval of org members. Steve Di Giorgi StormCon Director Phone: (805) 682-1300 x129 or Fax: (805) 682-0200 stevedg@forester.net.

Quote from the Hilborn guy when he ran the Pwna a few months ago before his disgraceful exit. Let me tell you what the BMPs are not (based on some of the points I read on the bulletin boards): · The PWNA is not going to bring, or shop, the BMPs to municipalities, city leaders or roll them out across the country. That was never mentioned as our plan and I don't know where that came from. Second, we don't have the money or resources for such an undertaking. · These BMPs aren't designed to be the answer for every power washer, in every part of the country, for every possible cleaning situation or challenge. They are a guide. They are a resource to develop BMPs specific to your operation. · They will not solve the Houston problem I guess the Pwna has changed their mind on shopping the bmp's.

The PWNA seems to be out of control and I really think that the one major player involved in this will not rest until he has ruined the career of every contractor in the washing business.

I encourage all members to cancel their memberships in protest of this blatant attempt to sell out the individual contractors by the vendors.

Who is from North Carolina???
offduty replied to nitrox2595's question in Residential Pressure Washing
I travel more and more out of state because the Raleigh area is flooded with everyone that has cashed in their 401K to presure wash. Not faulting them, everyone has to make a buck. Business is not as good as it has been. Funny, most of the guys on the boards up North talk about 3 to 5 hundred dollar house washes. You are moving to the land of $175 house washes. -

Russ, if it is a Cat, it needed rebuilding when it rolled down the assembly line:) -
Glad you didn't cause an accident or harm someone while you were illegally speeding because you forgot to carry spare parts.

A license cost 25 bucks here. Liablity insurance for a one man show runs about 400 bucks a year. Insurance and license will not prevent that kind of work. I price everything over the phone, and I don't do work like that. The BBB is a scam outfit. They were just exposed here in Raleigh for deceptive practices. Most savvy homeowners know they are fraud. So, what is the answer to the problem. There isn't one. Some people do bad work. That's it. You getr a bad plumber or mechanic sometimes. Luck of the draw. Be glad it wasn't your house and move on. Life is to short to worry about what other companies are doing.

Why do I get the feeling this guy uses dogs to clean gutters in his spa in the small town where he is the mayor.- 11 replies

Rent a hydrant meter from the town. I do it every week in several different states.
