I would not do this house being your first one. I try to avoid painted aluminum houses ,chalking or not. Being that it is prep work for a fresh paint job it should go fine.. Go for it...

Shane,they work great for spraying chemicals.set up properly,charge it with air and chems.,you can spray all 5 gallons.no pumping at all.if anyone needs details,shoot me an email.

I have been getting a few deck jobs and was looking at the Deckster wand with thumb wheel adjuster.Anybody use this(good or bad)?I was thinking of ordering one for my shurflo to apply stain.I think the adjustment would cut down on applying excess stain in certain situations.

There seems to be alot of product politics on this site.$50.00 for 5 gallons of applicable stripper is flat out crazy.I am no chemical scientist and can make 5 gallons of stripper for about 1 dollar.You guys should really look into making your own.

Fullblast,sounds like your at the end of your rope with that job.Tie a knot and hang on.Nightmare jobs arrise once and a while.Post a pictured of her rain ruined deck and one of the seasoned Woodies on this site should be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck

I am not a deck man -99.9% hoods.About 8 decks so far this year just kinda fell my way.I used ReadySeal on all and this stuff is really dummy proof.I used my shurflo which I use to apply hood cleaning chems to apply the cleaner(straight Wallmart bleach with a squirt of Dawn)Brightener(oxalic acid from my chem supplier)and the stain(ReadySeal).All your drips,runs etc.really do as advertised.These deck suprised the hell out of me.They turned out awesome.Also had to strip 3 of these decks and used sod. hydroxide.On the first stripping I used the Sod. hydroxide right from my hood cleaning mix.Big mistake.I had to spend 4 hours sanding before staining because of fuzzies.On the next one I cut my sodium hydroxide flake mix way down and just kept the deck wet for 20 min.Fuzzies were minimal.Tarping the deck to spray spindles sounds like a pain.

I have read a couple bad posts about ready seal.It by a long shot the top product being use according to the poll.Can some faithfull users chime in to back up ready seal.I ordered some to use and want to make sure I made a wise choise. Thanks Art

where do you guys order your foaming agent from???

I unhook all my hoses when done.When I get home I blow the line out with air.If I was just using cold water,water comes out when I blow the lines.If using hot there is no water when I blow it out.Its gotta be magic,if it cant evaporate...

If the burner is shut off hot 210 degrees plus,scientifically the water will evaporate thus being hot and dry...

it would seem impossible to undo a a QC without releiving pressure first.Alans gun setup is how I and assumed everybody is setup.Has anyone used the stop flow QC described above with your unit running??
