Well I'm getting caught up in here. Thanks for all the help! Will begin working on website maybe tomorow. It's a hassle. I'm not college educated. So I can't word affluently as the other websites. I'm going to try. 2 jobs tomorow and NASCAR! so I may not get to website!lol!!!

Hmmmm??? A faster way to scrub gutters if needed? Quicker than settin a ladder! The telescoping wand is so hard to control. I have 2 of them. I bought the 2nd one because the design of the first cheaper one was bad. Where you tighten and loosen the different sections went bad after.... I don't remember. havent used one in years.

If i go 24 hours not doing "something" for my little company. I later regret it. My last computer blue screened. I have over 2500 pictures in it. 75% work related. Before and after pics, picture documentation of gutter cleaning when customer isn't home, etc. goes back 5 years. This computer is about 2 weeks old. On days not working or on days when i have a half day I'm looking around for a way to get those pictures out!!! half day yesterday so I took the old computer to a friend. Best buy wanted $500 to get them out!!! Those picture I will get back. Even if I have to pay $500. I now save pictures on snapfish.com and my computer. Being in this situation with pictures... Mistake I made and wont make again! Faster up load also. Another way is to save on a disc. That seems like alot of work.

Downstreaming is best because you dont want those harsh chemicals going through your pump.

How does upstream or downstream make a difference with the wind? What do you use the x-jet for? I like the original also!!! Why is the x-jet too much pressure? How do you apply your house washing mix?

There are so many ways to reach the same outcome. Doesn't the rain remove the mix from the house affecting the dwell time? What do you do different when it''s raining, than when it's not raining?

What is Chenicals, and hardward? If I think I understand you right the hose from the x-jet to the 5 gallon bucket? been thinking bout buying longer hose for mine also. It's only 10 feet long if I remember right? My x-jet, the original, shoots 40 feet. The other x-jets only do 35 feet. I like mine. I'm probably going to stay with it, and screw if the fan tip when needed.

I think dwells are always needed Rick. What do you do different when you are washing the unshady side? Remember never let it dry on the widows, most important! If it looks like it starting to dry hit it again with more mix?

That is the newest x-jet? The bendy flex wand...what is that? for gutter cleaning? sounds too messy using water to clean gutters? I havent heard of this! What is it?

I have the old x-jet. with the screw in fan tip. I have 3 lances I keep on the truck. I needed the different sizes for how i was washing wood. was. I have 2, Heck I forgot what you call them! ...Telescoping wands in my shed somewhere??? You have to be very strong to work it efficiently! It wasnt the way to go.

Hey Beth!! with washing houses I aways start in the back. I carry enough hose to reach all the way around the house. I use the x-jet. Way quicker and the quality is phenominal!!! (did I spell that right?) What you said is almost exactly how I clean gutters! I try to set the ladder as few times as possable... I walk around the house and see the order to do it in. always clean the higher gutters first. Test each downspout as we come to it so you don't forget one. Make any repairs needed. I've taken downspouts apart to clean them! no upcharge. Clean the debri up. Walk the customer around the house and tell them what we seen, problem areas? They know as much as I found out doing the gutter clean. I even tell them if they have a 1 or 2 times a year gutter cleaning. I can tell by what comes out of the gutter.

I think what I'm looking for is what do you do first in the morning, and at the end of the day. After the work is done. Did a search on S.O.P. and, you are right. That can be anything. I still driving down the road answer calls, try to set a time and day. How do you organize your day that is the same every day? I run around like a chicken with my head cut off sometimes!!!

S.O.P. is that like P.O.D.? plan of the day, but things done in order everyday? Just in general, if you don't mind? What is your S.O.P.? If you can't tell I am a little unorganized. I just thought I could figure it all out my self and all I have done is survive and not much more. I have no good role models or anything to copy and put into play like that. One of the things I will be talkin about next week. She isnt in the pressure washin business. I think she might tell me to ask someone in here?

Rub it in!! I do deserve it!!! I never thought about how google crawls the page and my slang, or whatever, would not be recognized, and some other things also. The more I learn the more I find out I NEED to learn. I really am sorry. I do appologize. Looking at the past. I see how I've been wrestling with the lower companies. It's always a struggle too. A year ago I was in a price war, with a guy that just started up, in a local newspaper, gutter cleaning. Some experiences I've had in the past.... I've made some good decisions, and some bad ones. Acctualy I'm meeting with someone to do another buisiness plan next week. I have to redo alot it would seem. Hurts my pride a little bit. It really felt like I was being picked on. Some of the jokes made. I took it wrong. A light lit up today!!! Do I want to keep fighting with the lowballers, or loose some work, but build more word of mouth, at a price that is not just fair to the customer, but fair to me also.Thanks again everyone for putting up with me.
