That is one thing im behind on.... eyeballing square footage. each story is 10, aprox, and im gonna move forward with bein able to eye ball that. and yea i always throw in somethin for free!!!sidewalk or somethin...

I get as close the the houe as possable and set in 1 corner n can get all around the house with the x jet. thats not an issue any more. the mix that guy used and he washed the house in 1 hour! He was a sub for a big franchise. i couldnt stay n watch. thought that would be rude, lol!!!i got a neighbor to call me when he finished, hehehe!!! the washer i have is that dewalt 4gpm. im not up in hot washing yet n neither was he. my washer was same power as his. The mix... he used less soap than me obviously. watched him half way the back and had to leave. i mix power house n 12% bleach with water. heard in here the soap make the bleach stick to the house. washin the truck today i realized the same thing??? the bleach has to stick to the side of the house long enuf to do the job. or there could be streaks right??? next house wash im gonna adjust mix by 1/4th a gallon. less power house n more bleach.

I use the xjet and 12% bleach from sunbrite. and power house from the same. i have to hit the rakes n gutters twise n rinse rinse rinse till im happy its alll off the house. I couldnt stay the whole time n watch. i didnt see any bubbles ( soap) , a neighbor called me when they left that how i know they did it in an hour. wheres the scratcin your head icol lol!!!!i havent gone back n looked at the quality of the job. im gonna go gallon n half with the bleach n half gallon of power house next time. what do yall think????

it seems if ya wet the wood first it cleans faster? just a feelin im gettin and startin to do....

I still dont think i have washin houses down pat yet. I have the old xjet. was all i could find in stock anywhere. no biggie. i dont use a proportioner and i use 1 gal bleach from henrys store and 1 gal power house. in 5 gal bucket. takes forever to rinse the house to where im happy no more soap left. i have to hit the gutters 2 times, a 3rd time does nuthing. i watched another company wash a house in an hour and i didnt see any soap??? they only hit gutters 1 time. i couldnt stay to see end result, i got the gutter job next door, showed up same time company that majorly undercut me started the house. is brian right??? maybe i should back off the power house n use more bleach???

I think i have that book??? Geee, wheres it at? I need to find it, or buy another one!!! I started out gutter cleaning n paid..... 20 30 bucks for an info thing on starting a gutter cleaning biz and i was already doin it all, so it was a waste of money but also told me i was doin everything ok.

i STARTED GUTTERDOGS BOUT 5 YEARS AGO. CLEANIN GUTTERS. ADDED POWER WASHIN BOUT 3 YEARS OR SO AGO. RECENTLY I LEARNED BOUT THE XJET N MY MACHINE, 4GPM, 3750 PSI IS GOOD ENUF. IT PAYS TO KEEP AN OPEN MIND TO NEW IDEAS!!! I AM DOIN OK BUT THERE ARE SO MANY "LOWBALLERS" I HAVE TO COMPETE WITH TO GET THE JOB. IT IS VERY TOUGH. I ONLY HAVE 1 REPEAT COMMERCIAL SERVICE. AND I NEED TO WORK ON THAT. CURRENTLY MY BIGGEST PUSH IS ON INTERNET ADVERTISING. AND THAT I DO HAVE A FAIR AMOUNT OF KNOWLEDGE. IVE JUST ABOUT LEARNED WHAT IM PAYIN OVER 1000 A MONTH FOR. SOON ILL SAVE THE "G" AND DO IT MYSELF!!!
