Do You Have What It Takes? (to be an entrepreneur)
R L S replied to PressurePros's topic in Business Topics & Tips
Good post. My biggest problem is "un plugging" but after my wife "explained" the other day that I dont "unplug" I am most certainly working on that. -
Celeste Ive seen your trucks, and I know you gotta a washer so now whats your excuse LLOOOLLL!!! Issac, I have a white truck and a blue truck. I think the lettering stands out better on the blue because you can make the lettering jump out if you border it in white or silver. A lot of folks have white trucks and while they are easier to keep clean and hide dents, dings better they are everywhere, go to the wild side.

If its only powder it would be easy to figure how many pounds or cups go into a 55 gal mix then reduce it down to a 5er. So say 55 pounds of powder go into a 55 gal drum then 5 pounds of powder goes into a 5er, make sense. Same thing with any liquids it comes with. Just reduce it down.

All I've ran is Hotsy and Landa they are both a bit higher in price than most but they are great units. I highly recommend them. -

Very well put Mr. Chapman I must agree. No matter what peoples stance is on this issue I must emphasize that we as a country must always support our troops! I beat the **** outta a guy a couple weekends back because he said that "anyone who joins the military is a fool and deserves whatever happens to them". Did he stop and think that those soldiers gave him the right to say that. What ignorance. I think he got what he deserved.

R L S replied to Celeste's question in The Club House
My wife is VP as well and I doubt she would visit the site, Okay I am sure she wouldnt visit. Pw just isnt her thing and thats fine for me. Good idea though Celeste!!!! -
Its pretty damn hot here as well. I can work all day long as long as I have water. Yesterday I drank 2 gallons yesterday and today its only 4:30 and I drank 2.5gals. When I was a HotShot my ruck was ussaully the heaviest because of all the water I carried. Cut out the sodas and drink water lots of it you'll feel so much better and have lots more energy.

Celeste you need to tell my wife that!!!! I run the entire shooting match and she wonders why I am always doing work!

Change it after the very first 50hrs which has passed I assume then every 200hrs after that.Use 30w non-detergent oil. Change your engine oil and filter every 50 I let mine go a bit longer than that.

Does anyone know where I can get 1/8" stainless or galvanized lances. Or a pipe supply wharehouse that sells 1/8" pipe with mpt on both ends? Thanks a lot
-
Thanks Larry shipping would probably kill me. Your right about a lot phone calls most people think I am nuts. Like you after a long day of trucks my arms are killing me, trying to cut the weight down. John, I tried alum lances but with HF and using them as leverage pulling hoses around trucks I break them pretty easily, I went through 2 in one weekend so I have to SS.

Full of BS if you ask me. Everything will get mold on it overtime. But then again thats just my opion and he knows more about the siding makeup than I do.

What is your average driving distance to job?
R L S replied to mdspowerwashing's topic in Business Topics & Tips
There is no average milage for me. My furthest account is around 60miles. My closest account is 10 miles. On some of my longer distance accounts if I didnt have 2 or 3 stops on the way they would get cut, but since I am in the area I picked them up. -
I know people that have had them welded when the leak was acessible. One lasted for years and the other didnt last long at all. I would try welding it first. Coils are pricey!

Full time is great and scary at the same time. You'll have slow times where ya wanna quit and fire your self and times you'll be rocking and rolling (save during those times) Market, Market and ALWAYS do a great job and you will survive, keep your prices up and quality even higher!!!! Alright enough rambling GOOD LUCK!!

I am not sure either but you can upstream your chems to apply under pressure if they are nice to your pump, just a thought.
