I just got a new 2011 Ford Ranger extended cab.It was a new left over truck, they don't make the Ranger anymore. It had a huge rebate on it.It has 4.0 v-6,has great power pulling my small trailer.I am thinking about building a bare bones softwash skid to slid in the back of it.I built one for my 1994 chevy long bed truck earlyer this year an it worked out great.

I have one you can have if you come and get it.Looks brand new.

If you want a gauge get one with quick connects so you can just snap it in check your pressure and put it back in the toolbox. If you install one permanetly it will not last long, that the experence I have had with them.On the ball valve at the end of your pressure hose, most of us do this so you can switch between your gun and surface cleaner without having to stop the machine.Softwashing and downstreaming on a big job I just use the ball valve and quick connect my J-rod with the tip I need and wash away.

I would run two seperate machines. That way you always have a backup if one goes down.

Sodium hypochlorite, simple cherry, and water is all you need to do a basic house wash.
-
That's because you're using the wrong size injector. Change to a 3-5 gpm injector and it will pull like mad. Trust me 8 gpm units are all we run.[/quoteWhat Guy said.

Everybody has there own way of doing things.I started off downstreaming and it is the easyest and fastest way to wash a house.I tried the x-jet/M-jet and used my roof setup to wash houses also. The downstream method is the only way for me.

Thanks Tim,thats what I would of said.no Marco, 65 gallons will not wash a house. The purpose of using a tank that small would be to be used as a buffer tank. when the water source is producing less than your output (4.2 Gallons) it makes up the difference. when you are not pulling the trigger it catches up. -
Marco get you a 65 gallon leg tank from Tractor supply,Agri-supply,Northern tool thats all you need for your machine if you are washing houses.

You already have the best chemical out there for cleaning gutters.I have used several different brands and F-13 is the best I have found.

Tony, Excellent Information! Exactly what I'm looking for. I also contacted Jerry at Sirocco, He has a couple of options for me to look at.No problem, glad I could help.I think Im going to set mine up like that too.

Michael from First Choice Power Wash has a good video on youtube about the way he has his tank setup with a switch from liquidlevel.com.Type in FCPWLLC on youtube search and his videos will come up.

I had a lady call me a few weeks ago,she said I am behind your truck and got your number. How much to you charge to clean carpet, she asked.I said the carpet in your house?she said yes,I told her that it could not be done and she said ok.

Dexter has a axle called The Air Flex,it has air bags mounted to it.I use to own a 28 foot Pace racecar trailer,it had Dexter rubber torsion axles under it.They made it sit low.

Great job on the backpack xjet setup, but why would you do all this bucket carrying and handtrucking house wash mix around.I am a downstreamer an love it.Im not trying to make anyone mad or start a xjet vs downstream fight but it should be easy to see which makes better sense.Sorry if I stepped on any toes.I have a M-5 xjet that i use to apply ox with but thats it.
X-jet; cost $149.99
bucket carry
hose to tangle up
high pressure
limited reach
Downstreaming: injector with quick connects $25.00
low pressure nozzles $3.00 each
leave bucket at the trailer with mix in it $priceless
shoot mix higher
no bucket carrying
