What's you vehicle of choice...and why?
Cleaner replied to Beth n Rod's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
I just got a new 2011 Ford Ranger extended cab.It was a new left over truck, they don't make the Ranger anymore. It had a huge rebate on it.It has 4.0 v-6,has great power pulling my small trailer.I am thinking about building a bare bones softwash skid to slid in the back of it.I built one for my 1994 chevy long bed truck earlyer this year an it worked out great. -

I have one you can have if you come and get it.Looks brand new. -
If you want a gauge get one with quick connects so you can just snap it in check your pressure and put it back in the toolbox. If you install one permanetly it will not last long, that the experence I have had with them.On the ball valve at the end of your pressure hose, most of us do this so you can switch between your gun and surface cleaner without having to stop the machine.Softwashing and downstreaming on a big job I just use the ball valve and quick connect my J-rod with the tip I need and wash away.

..Basically sounding off on the age old... House Wash Dilema ..
Cleaner replied to jeffex11's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Everybody has there own way of doing things.I started off downstreaming and it is the easyest and fastest way to wash a house.I tried the x-jet/M-jet and used my roof setup to wash houses also. The downstream method is the only way for me. -
Thanks Tim,thats what I would of said.

Making the x-jet easier to use
Cleaner replied to Freshlook's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Great job on the backpack xjet setup, but why would you do all this bucket carrying and handtrucking house wash mix around.I am a downstreamer an love it.Im not trying to make anyone mad or start a xjet vs downstream fight but it should be easy to see which makes better sense.Sorry if I stepped on any toes.I have a M-5 xjet that i use to apply ox with but thats it. X-jet; cost $149.99 bucket carry hose to tangle up high pressure limited reach Downstreaming: injector with quick connects $25.00 low pressure nozzles $3.00 each leave bucket at the trailer with mix in it $priceless shoot mix higher no bucket carrying -
