I had bought 5 rain suits from bass pro shops they are the columbia brand the only bad thing about them is the crotch of them tears. Im looking for some that are made of good quality that will last, I understand that the ones I bought was not the top of the line they normally sell them for $50 and got them on sale for $20. In the winter time I put sub zero coveralls on with the rain suit to keep warm and dry. I would like to know what brand rain suits do you have that you wear in the winter and what brand you wear in the summer, the place to get them from, model number & price

Need Help With New Trailer Set-Up!
extremeclean replied to metcalfec's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
1) 3/4'' hose feeding to the washer for your machine is going to fine, I have a 3/4'' hose that feeds my 5.5 gpm unit with no problems what so ever. 2) When running hose to your buffer tank make sure that you use 3/4'' reason being is when you have to run over 200' of say 5/8'' garden hose friction will cause the water to barely come out, where if you us 3/4'' you will have the volume to mantain the stream. As for the filter, I have the small screen style strainer on my 3/4'' hose that attaches to the water spigot that dumps into my buffer tank (This has saved me several times from getting things into my tank), then I have a small micron filter between the tank and pump to stop any small debris. Also where you said that you are going to fill your tank at your house make sure that your tralier has brakes on it to help stop the weight. And when you pumb in you pressure washer to your buffer tank make sure that you purchase hose that will not collapse under suction and its best not to use pvc pipe I can't remember where I purchased my hose from but its black in color and has 3/8'' walls with the 3/4'' ID you can not squeeze it together -

Are you just wanting to sell the engine and keep the skid or sell the entire skid. About selling the motor you have to remember that you can buy a brand new one for $1,400 with 0 hours on it, The price that you come up with will also depend on the condition of the motor "If anything is missing or torn up" and the amount of hours since its a 2005 model. As for building a pressure washer, you already have the motor now you will need to buy a pump, you can run a 5.5 gpm at 3,500 psi as for what pump everyone has there own kind they like. You can contact some of the vedors that support the site that will give you more details and pricing. Hope this helps.

Just wanted to get this thread back on the top! We believe that everyone should try to join this, as it helps all who has been protecting us and our families. We have sent in our application just waiting to hear back from them. Has anyone that has signed up for Cleaning For Heroes went out and advertised this great cause in your area? What PSI for pre painting outside wall ?
extremeclean replied to diamondbar's question in Residential Pressure Washing
We have done several Painting jobs, before I started my own business I worked for family doing construction, Trust me when saying that the siding does need to be cleaned in some manner, pressure washing being the fastest. If the surface is not cleaned then the paint will not adhere and will fail. This is the reason that almost all painting companies offer pressure washing as part of there services -
What PSI for pre painting outside wall ?
extremeclean replied to diamondbar's question in Residential Pressure Washing
When cleaning wood remember to be careful not to use to much pressure as this will damage the wooden surface. When we clean wood we turn our pressure washer all the way down and use a dual wand for better control of the water using a 40 degree tip and sometimes using a 25 degree tip when needed. Just remember to keep the wand away from the wood, we hold the wand about 1+' away so the pressure does not eat at the wood surface. When removing paint with a pressure washer you only want to remove the paint that is flaked up, you don't have to remove all of it! The paint that is left behind just use a 5 in 1 scraper and scrap as needed to make the surface smooth. The the new paint will adhere just fine to the old paint as long as its clean and not chipped. I hope this helps you. Also remember if its lead paint you will have to capture it and discard of it properly. -
Our prayers go out to the families in the Tuscon Shooting
extremeclean posted a question in The Club House
After hearing the news for the past couple days about the several people that lost there lives in the shooting. We ask everyone to please take a few minutes and pray for everyone that has been hurt, or lost someone in the shooting. Me being a father I could not imagine the pain and suffering that the 9 year old girls parents are going through planning there daughters burial. After listening to the news today they mentioned that Fred Phelps from Westboro Baptist Church plans on protesting at Cristina Greeneās funeral. If you remember this is the " SO CALLED church'' that protests at our soldiers funerals that get killed protecting our families, and now they are protesting this 9 year old girls funeral. Here is a link to the video from Fred Phelps announcing that they will be there. I truly can't believe this. http://tucsoncitizen.com/three-sonorans/2011/01/08/video-fred-phelps-westboro-baptist-church-plans-on-protesting-at-cristina-greenes-funeral/ Please just remember to take the time to pray for this girls family and the others that where hurt or killed. -

I mean if losing your kid, the one thing in this world that you would do anything to protect is not bad enough on you. The day of there funeral have to weep for your lose then hear those people outside screaming that they deserve what happened, would be even worse. Me being a man of god attending church every sunday would find it very hard not to approach them in a negative way. I know when we had a local soldier die in war in afghanistan for us they said they where coming to North East Tennessee, However they never did. LOL I guess they found out how crazy some of our locals are/ can get. -

extremeclean replied to TroyCRS's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
We use a product called ''New Again'' it's made for cleaning of decks fences and roofs. We use this product all the time and does a great job. It is a little pricey at around $35 per gallon from our local dealer. You can check it out at newagain.net -
I ran across this today looking, if anyone is in the Baltimore, MD area that offers pressure washing. I hope this helps your 2011 season. http://www.artscape.org/artscape/uploads/File/PressureWashingAll.pdf From what the website says there is going to be a great number of people attending the event. Hope that everyone has a great Merry CHRISTmas, and is very prosperous in the new year.

Full time or part time?
extremeclean replied to One Tough Pressure's question in Residential Pressure Washing
We have been in the pressure washing business since 2002 part time until this year I decided to go Full Time since I was working my self to death and not able to spend much time with my 16month son. This year has been good, except for the past month, its been snowing and my commercial are having trouble with busted water lines.
