  1. dual hose reels can be purchased from Hannay reel company,if i were to use this setup it would be with an AG sprayer tank setup with its own pump and motor not a shurflo, also i cannot see the time efficiency over an x jet type setup.

how much is the time actually mixing chems and hooking up to the x jet worth that yousave the weight of the hose added expense of the reels and time spent managing the monstrosity?

you still have to unhook from the device you use to apply chemicals and hook up to the extension wand....

also the chemicals we use for housewash and concrete cleaning and brick washing will destroy the reel hose and the device pumping it very shortly,i dont see any savings or benefit.......

yes it is a good gimmick for those who spend most of there time dreaming of ways to make things more complicated but for the realist i cant picture it working better than an x jet type of injector.

please prove it is faster and more economical than an x jet type injector thats what i want to see.

  2. i recieved the new m5 xjet the other day and i am very happy with it (the adjustable fan nozzle is a lifesaver)

i have been using the v-jet (ex-simpson) injector for four years until simpson stopped making them, which coincedently just reached distributors shelves the other day,i was paying $90 for the one you referr to as v jet i would like to know where you found them for $40?

  3. i just took delivery of the blower yesterday,it is huge 250 pounds and i think it might have a 5 inch opening for intake and exhaust.

i have seen an all american carpet cleaning setup and all they did was route the blower exhaust through the floor of a van with rigid electrical conduit,it didnt sound that loud to me but it was a small blower, using a 16 hp engine.

i need a recovery tank asap. where do i look to find a deal?

  4. KYLE,

i am curious about the direct drive also, all of the truckmounts that i have looked at were running dual belt drivetrains.

we have also been taught belt driven accessories lat longer than direct drive because of heat transfer and rpm differences.

i thank you for any advice you have but i am wondering why the manufacturers site and sales rep informed me this blower will pull 700 cfm,im sure its just an exxageration of HG numbers, nonetheless i am sure 400 cfm is better than a shop vac anyday.

  5. i purchased a sutorbuilt 5MVL positive displacement blower from a guy off Ebay (retail $2,000 i paid $450 to my door)brand new unit in box 255 pounds,i am going to attach it to a 25 horse Kohler engine via belt drive,i am purchasing a recovery tank and hose reels from the carpet cleaning side of the industry.

this blower pulls 700 cfm vaccum which is enough to recover massive amounts of water and can handle 2 wands @ 300 feet lenghts of 1 1/2 vaccum hose.

i dont presently need to recover any of my water, this is for my other company but it could come in handy someday.

  6. I have read this article before and it is very valuable.

one of the things that is so sad is the fact that so many vendors are in competition of business that ACCOUNTS can have ther way with terms, there are tons of accounts out there who pay within 7 days and on time every time, all of the accounts that i have dealt with on 30 day terms usually take 45 days to pay.

it is now our policy to suspend service to accounts who have 3 late payments on 30 day terms.

if you get involved in this cycle of chasing collections it can be viscious, and detrimental to your companies financial health.

  7. Jon,if i was into washing cars i would try to make it,it would be real easy to make given the fabrication machinery i have.

we have guys here who set up shop in a parking lot at main streets and wash cars for spare change on the weekend,i would like to set up along side them one weekend just to raise the bar a little bit.

Paul, could you ask for something a little more difficult? lol
