i wish i would have found these boards before i started it would have made life a bit easier. Working with carlos you will be able to learn a lot. Good luck to you and sorry if I offended anyone. I was just thinking along the lines of trying to help him get started with what he has to work with.

I run medium grade gas in my truck which the extra ten cents per gallon gets me more mpg. enough to offset the difference in price and then some. i have tried premium grade but still get same mpg as medium. cheap grade my truck spark knocks and fuel mileage suffers. i also have a honda civic that i do my running around in. I just don't think it would pull my trailer.

Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah Hey Why Not Try To Help Him Out Guys. If I Were You I Would Look At Leasing Equipment, If You Are Really Interested In Getting In The Business. You Can Lease Equipment Starting At $1000. You Can Also Get Everything That You Need And Not Spend A Fortune. You Could Start With Bare Necessities And Probably Not Have Anymore Than $5000 In Your Equipment. Some Insurance Companies Will Let You Finance The Insurance Which You Could Handle Your Down Payment With A Portion Of The $800, Take Part Of The 800 And Get Biz License And Biz Cards A Few Chemicals, And Gas. I Think If You Are Creative With Financing You Could Start Something With $800. The First Job I Did Was With A Borrowed Machine And I Made $3000 On It(SPENT MY CASH ON INSURANCE AND CHEMS). I Put All Of That Money Right Back Into The Biz. I Am Sure That There Are Other Success Stories Where Others Have Started With Little Or No Money. I Wish You Luck And Recommend That You Read What You Can Off Of This Board, As You Will Learn From Others Mistakes.

set a schedule for the baby and stick to it. this will get them in a routine and will make things easier for you. i.e. feed baby, bath, put to bed. car seat for each car. let grandparents get their own. epicac (spelling?) this is for baby if they drink something they should not, it will induce vomiting. put all household cleaners out of reach, including medicines pedialyte is good if they are sick and can't keep anything down formula pediasure can't think of the name but the stuff that you give children if they are sick and throwing up to settle their stomach gentle soap for baths and baby shampoo baby lotion don't freak out when unbilical cord dries up and looks nasty, which you will need something like neosporin for this. samething for the dingaling if you are having a boy. if i think of more I will post. We have three children 11,6,4

Hey!!!!!!!!! I did not know Jeff until I met him on another BBs, and he only lives 5 minutes away. We stop at same gas station every day. I think if everyone respected other BBS members like they do their customers you would not have some of the embarassing things as Everett is speaking of. If you go to a lawyer for a consultation he charges you money. If you come here for a consultation it is free and you get more than one answer. I could blab on for a long time but I think RESPECT would help. another reason for influx of info and post on bbs's could be due to the amount of newbies coming on the boards asking questions, time of year and weather , just to name a few.

I just did the math. I spend more than $100.00 per week in gas. lets just say $100.00 even. If i save 4% that is only $4. I don't think $4 worth of your enhancer would cover 36 gallons of gas. Thats based on $2.75 per gallon. I have a truck and car that I use. the truck gets 16 mpg and 4% better would only be 16.64 mpg. Most people could probably save 4% by conserving. Like driving a little slower and cutting out unneeded driving. I don't mean to bust your bubble but if you can show me my math is incorrect, I have no problem trying out enhancers.

I am only like 10 minutes south of Seagate on 17 bypass.

I just reread the thread sorry, I have gotten $1.15 for clean and seal on existing, not as many windows though.

Neil go visit Brent at Guaranteed Supply in Fletcher, he can fix you up with whatever you need. Tell him the Jim Carroll sent you.

Any suggestions for working and bidding this one? I'm thinking $2.50/sq/ft I think that price is about $2.00 too high. I have done new construction cleaning in your market and it was not even at $0.50 s.f. Existing is going to be cheaper. However, the difference is that accessability at this point is not what is was at the time it was built. If it was new it could be done in approx. 2 days. I think that you are looking at about a one day job depending on traffic for cleaning about the same for sealing. Depending on the sealer, to give you an idea i can get brick sealed for $0.18 s.f. for labor only.

anyone in the area that would be interested in showing my brother in law the ropes on pressure cleaning. He is interested in getting something started. I can only do so much over the telephone.

Has it came up yet?

depends on where the white is. Is it in the middle of a wall or runoff from windows?

Answering the "How long will it take?" question...
Jim Carroll replied to Neil_Asheville's question in Residential Pressure Washing
I normally ask how quick they want it done. This way if they want it done quicker than I could do then I know I could call in backup. I do mostly commercial construction cleaning. Time normally is not an issue with construction cleaning, it is more scheduling subs around each other. -
roller pump running backward?
Jim Carroll replied to JeffW's question in Residential Pressure Washing
gas engines run opposite than a pto. you need to make sure the pump is for gas engine.
