Hey AC, Hope the pain goes away soon. I believe it it painted asphalt. It is only 1 tennis court. It is actually the court in my neighborhood. I'm cleaning the pool furniture and the tennis court at the same time. Plan is to move the pool furniture to the tennis court so I can clean the furniture. Was going to use my house wash mix on the vinyl pool funiture as well. After the pool furniture is cleaned and moved I would then apply my mix to the court and do a light rinse. House wash mix should work well for the pool furniture. I was thinking that there would be so much water down on the tennis court that my chems would be diluted enough to be ok but I'm looking for everyone's opinion on this. Thanks for complimenting my web site. It's a work in progress. I make changes to it as I have time. Thanks! Mike

Hey AC, How are things going? Staying busy? I don't want to invent the "white" tennis court!! I don't want to damage the court just lightly clean. Anyone else have experience cleaning tennis courts? Thanks, Mike

Hi bill, Thanks for the explanation. I would've though the fuzz would retain the color. Where do you buy the Osbourne brush? Thanks, Mike -

Hi Bill, I'm not sure I understand what you are saying. Can you explain what you mean by lost to Ready Seal? thanks, Mike -
Hi everyone, Was cleaning a deck yesterday and had something happen that was a little scary. I use a ball valve on the end of my high pressure hose so I can switch between attachments while working (gun, surface cleaner, ext. pole, etc...) I had the ball valve closed and I connected the gun into the quick connect. I turned the ball valve on and it shot out of my hand and down the deck stairs. It happened in a split second. I would say the ball vavle and end of my hose easily went at least 20ft from where I was standing. I went and picked up the end of my hose and shut the ball valve back off. I realized it had blown the o-ring out of the quick connect so I replaced the o-ring. Hooked my gun back in, triple checked my connections and turned the ball valve on and went back to work. In retrospect, this could have been dangerous. It could of hit someone standing behind me, blown through a window, etc... Now I am curious about other folks experiences like this. Was this just simply a case of I didn't properly seat the gun in the quick connect? Has anyone ever had a quick connect blow apart? Do you replace quick connects on a scheduled interval to prevent failure due to wear? When you have multiple hose lengths connected on your hose reel do you join them with quick connects or used permanent style connectors? If you use a ball valve... do you make sure the area behind you is clear before opening the valve while the machine is running? If you don't use a ball valve... have you ever had a connection blow apart when you started your machine? Thanks, Mike

Does anyone add a scent to there chemical
mikew replied to dgold42's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Steve Rowlett sells a lemon scent to kill the bleach smell. I think it is called Lemonator. www.rowlettpressure.com Mike -
I had this same email this morning in my inbox. I think they either request you send a large sum of money (say 10,000) to cover the cost or they ask for your bank account information in order to clean you out. Mike

I use a wax from Steve Rowlett when i'm washing vinyl siding. Seems to work fine to me. Mike -
I wonder if that is true or if it is BS to just get you in the door and buy a truck now?? Mike

How much is involved with your typical residential powerwash
mikew replied to Jhignutt's question in Residential Pressure Washing
No, I provide a seperate estimate if the roof needs cleaning. Mike -
I would buy used as well. Let someone else take the hit with immediate loss of value. Like Jon said you can get a good used truck at a decent price. I will never buy another new vehicle again. Just my .02. Mike

Same for me. Cleaning the gutters is included in all of my house wash estimates. Dirty gutters detract from an otherwise clean house. Mike -

Hi Everyone, I guess this question is for anyone who has an open trailer, works out of the back of their truck, or has had prior experience with this... You are washing a house and it begins to rain. Can the rain damage the motor on your pressure washer? Is a light rain ok but a heavy rain could do damage? Do you try to cover the motor somehow and keep working? I'm real particular about my equipment which is why I ask. I have not had this happen yet but I know it will! Thanks, Mike
