  5. It makes sense that if you use a curing stain that dries near or at the surface then yes it would help prevent "leaching" of the arsenic.
  6. Marty- In Michigan nothing will last longer. There are products that last as long such as the Armstrong Clark Stain but nothing will last longer on a horizontal surface.
  7. We have had no issues or complaints with the 1500 Series as far as application. Has anyone else tried it yet?
  8. Charlie, In this pdf it says that in most cases only one coat is needed: http://www.twpstain.com/pdf/TWP1500SeriesPresentationG%282010%29.pdf We have had very positive results when applying the 1500 Series. It applies basically the same as the 100 Series. Anyone else try the 1500 Series yet?

  10. Here is a picture of TWP that I put on my deck in April 2008. I flipped back the rug that has been on the deck for the entire year to show the dfference. Besides the wood being a little dirty on the outside parts, there is no difference and zero color fading.

  16. My personal experience with One time is that it turns dark in color after 2-3 years. We have stripped numerous decks that have had One time on it using a NaOH stripper. All came off rather easy. None of the customers went back to using it as they felt that it lasted no different then other available stains for 1/2 the price.
