Yes he uses TWP on pretty much every deck. He is not doing as many now though. Mostly concentrating on commercial stuff and house washes.

Going well Jeff! Very busy for the most part except when it rains.

I see him about once a week as he comes into our store. He just got tired of the drama and trying to the educate the lowballers. He gave up.

No discount. No point in my opinion and they do not expect one from me. -

Lyle you will be happy when the new TWP 1500 series comes out this summer. It will be compliant for all states. From what I understand, test results show it outperforming the 100 series. It will not have any drying issues like the 500 series if over applied. -

Not it is not a film forming finish. It is a penetrating finish that cures. -

TWP Update - New Versions are Coming!
Scott Paul posted a question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
TWP will be adding two new versions of their excellent stains this year. TWP water-based stains will be the introduced this May. The product has been extensively developed and tested over the past couple of years. I was told that it does not film and behaves like their oil-based formulas. A brand new Oil-based formula will be introduced this Summer. The new series (I was asked not to disclose name yet) will be a 250 VOC positive dry stain. It will behave like their 100 series as far as application and drying. This new series will eventually replace the 500 series and the 100 series when that becomes obsolete in 2012. -
