Another Great Day for Staining :(
Scott Paul posted a question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Anyone else having the same issues today? I have only had 3 days to stain out of the last 14. It's also hurting my call volume locally. -

No, Storm Shield is a different product developed by Gemini Coatings. The new TWP water based product will be developed by Amteco. -

Maybe they will come up with a water-based stain that can be applied during heavy rain:) -

Those are all Cedartone 101. FYI: I had TWP's national rep in my store yesterday. They will be introducing a new stain to replace their 100 series for 250 VOC states. It will have a thinner viscosity then the 500 series. They are also coming out with a water based version that he said blows away the all others. The water based will be available in semi and solid. Both will be available Fall 2009 or spring 2010. -
"New" Armstrong Website will be Made
Scott Paul posted a question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
I talked to Jake Clark about Tonyg's suggestions and he was very excited about doing something. After I explained all the possibilities he decided that a new Armstrong site would be best on a more versatile platform. I offered to build the site but this will be a Manufacturer Site, not one of my sites. This site will be designed for the contractor to help promote their Armstrong Clark wood restoration business. I believe it will have tremendous potential. I have put some thought into this and so far I thought this would work: 1. Photo gallery 2. Monthly or quarterly contest 3. Armstrong Clark Contractor directory 4. Ability to vote on pictures 5. Ability to write comments for pictures 6. Blog for comments and suggestions. 7. Social networking such as twitter so people will be able to get updates whenever they happen. You would also be able to update and post pictures while you are in the field. 8. Winner of contest section where there is an article and links to contractor's web site helping promote the contractor/winner. I would appreciate any and all suggestions, comments, or feedback on how this site could benefit your business. -

Thanks Rick! Designing, building, and promoting my websites are what I do for 5 months of the year while I am slow in the winter. It is something that I enjoy doing and keeps me very busy. -

During the busy season, I only get one day a week to relax and not worry about everything. Here is of picture of my backyard while I am drinking a beer, checking emails and watching my kids play! Anyone else enjoying a needed day off?
-
I have taken many Sunday naps in that hammock:)
-
Thanks Rick, the kids were playing in the hammock. Rain has been hurting us as well but I still take Sunday's off to spend time with the little ones.

Uh Oh... -
I only drink it on the weekends. I could not afford to drink it daily. It is worth it though.

You are correct! Also using a French Press instead makes a world of difference. I order mine straight from Jamaica.
