I'm telling you Jeff you need to call Country Power Washing. He is smart, and he know what he is talking about!! I think he does lease, or some kind of payment type of thing and I bet he would deliver it to you night stand!!!! There's 2 fella down there Johnny and Loren, they both know what their doing but I prefer talking with Johnny, he is the owner of the biz and he was in the washing biz for awhile, he is more blunt and will tell you what you need to know where as the other fella will have to pull the book out and tell you what it says. I don't like that!! Do you think this will work or won't it, I didn't ask if the book said it would work or not. He's havin open house the end of the month and gives a good discount on stuff. Yea your right about that #2 I use to have all my hose reels plumbed right up to the tank til I found out that by going thru the reel it was cut the flow a good bit, now I don't have any of them plumbed.

Man yea. get the 8 gpm!!!! you want regret it. I run all 7gpm and about the only time you will run into trouble is when the water is realy slow and trying to run 2 pumps, that is day you wish you would have gotten the 5gpm.:cool:

I will put it this way, I charge the normal amount for vinyl siding but the other siding I charge more. Watch out for aluminum siding, if the paint is getting chalky then be careful how much pressure you use and do it even or you will leave marks where you went, that you will be able to see. Also watch how strong your mix is on alum. Could take the paint right off the siding if it's in bad shape. My 2 pennies.

Got a house tomorrow that I need to get some smoke off, not too bad. Just wondering what to use here. Think Cleansol will cut it?? Just wondering. Thanks!!!!

Good glad someone the U.S.A. had fun today!!!...because I had a redo today. Lgangry The guy was a fanatic!!!!!!!!!!! Did the job in 2 days instead of 3 like he thoght it should have taken and I (the boss) was not there the whole time. Man the realy rips me off. Had a very confusins day on thur. This fanatic called and said bla bla bla and said that so and so washing co. was better then us. 2 hours later I talk to another customer that has the same kind of work talking about scheduling another washing, and I say that man I', terribly busy right then (really don't like doing this work) and the man say ah come on we like your wash quality better than the other companies... the same people that the other fella had just got done runing in the dirt!!! We talked for awhile and come to find out that I was $1100 higher then the other washing co. but he still wanted us. Go figure!!!! I guess momma said we woud have them days!! One thing I learned about paint preping is... Bid pletty high!! I spent a lot of extra time that I had not accounted for when stripping a house. Don't want to give you cold feet but I've had to redo one time. Something to think about is the paint chips...where do they go... how picky are they?? Let them know right up front that a power washer gets the worst of it ... but if they want it perfect then they will still need to scrape it, unless you are doing that too. Just a thoght or 2..

I run COMET!! I have 7 of them. 7 @ 3600psi . They can go pretty long on a rebuild. Had 1700 hrs on the last ones I rebuilt.

Go kick butt man!!!!!!!! Get desperate to get dirty!!!!!!!!!! Gowash your house, wash your friends house and his shop,truck, car, trailer, boat, dozer, anything you can find to get some hands on know how!!! Have any excavating Co. in your area? Go give them a good deal that they can't pass up to clean there equipment.They usally need something cleaned, sure it's dirty work, and you may come home blacker than coal, and sweated your eyes out but shucks you'll have a check in your hand and that is what count for starting up. You may say the books says not to make less than $30-50 hr but man at you stage just get a check in your hand, thats what you need. Not only will people see you but do a good job you may be back and they talk may get some work. When you go into the hardware store to get some parts make for sure that you say something about you getting part for you power washing rig and that you do washing who knows... I di very few house washing when I started, I got started in the grease. Here's things that I washed for the first 2 years in the order that I did the most of. Tractor-trailers Excavating equipment Farm equip. Sawmill/Logging equip. Houses Now I do very little equipment washes. Just jump in and don't scared to get dirty!!!! Put the pedal down and GET-R-Done Good Luck!!! :winking:
