I think I would do both. House washing is cheaper work but there is more people in need of it than decks. Put them both on.

6 more months of Fall and it will be Summer again!!!!! Can't wait!!
-
We do some of these regularly. just use your reg house wash soap minus the SH and the key on fly crap is to soak the ceiling out ahead of you. I don't think you will have any trouble. As far as the floor it is probley always dirty anyways and they really don't want it clean, it will be dirty again in 24 hours. Good luck!! P.S. We did one of these today.

Honestly can you get 15%?? Had a person selling chlorine to me as 15% and I got looking on the label that was on them, and learned that chlorine weighs different then water therefore it is 12% by volume and 15% by weight (this may be vice verses). is that the same that everybody else is talking about when refering to 15%??

So so true!!!!

Man I hate hearing this from anybody!!!!! Hey man hang in there, you got our prayer support!!! I hope all turns out for the good for you!!! I have this lil fear in me sometimes that one of the guys will have a wreck and lose a rig or even a life, that would put a man and company thru a down time no doubt. Good Luck!!!!

maximum gpm on home water source?
FullBlast replied to boss's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
I run 7-8 gpm pumps and I sure glad I have my buffer tank. I have 500 gallons but you wouldn't need that much. 20-30 gal would probley make a difference. -

So far so good!! We're busy. -
Think the air is drying the seals out??
-
I use it just for spot spraying or when I need a stronger mix just regular house wash, soap and chlorine. I just run it 2-5 min at a time. I bet that last one that just went bad didn't have 1 hour of pump time on it. I used it on 5 small jobs.

What is the average life span of a Shurflo?? I would like to hear froma few people, what the life span of it is and also what you do to get that long life out of it?? I have tried shurflo, flowjet, fimco over and over again and can get only a few weeks to a few months. The one that held up the longest was the cheapest one, the fimco and I got a whole 3 months out of it. I can live with that but this last shurflo 4 weeks and the motor quit. It seems like it is always something, I just can't get much life out of them. As soon as I get done using it I run 5 gallons of water thru it to flush it our. What more can I do??

Customers getting all antsy about particular times
FullBlast replied to plainpainter's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Man do I ever know what your talking about!!!!!! Thats what I try to do is accomidate them the best you can, but try to get by with just a am or pm time frame. What I run into is I do alot of commercial accounts and I never know when they will call and need all my trucks on a one or two day notice. You know how it is when you got some good commercial accounts that give you work year round, you pretty much got to jump when they snap their finger, but sometimes you residential customers suffer from that. I try to make sure that they know that up front that they will be fit in asap most people understand. -

Man that is BAD!!!!! Looks good after tho!! Way to go!! -
Yea your right about that. Man I would hate to think of it. I have a few of mine welded to the receiever. Good reminder for everbody!!! Check your lug nuts on truck and trailer too. Just had that happen a few weeks ago, driver was complaining of a viberation checked different things a few times but decided a u-joint was going out, but he finally discovered that the wheel was coming off, 8 lug wheel and only 3 were still there the rest were broken off.

I wouldn't give the extra buck for it. General pumps for me. Cat loves living off their name, I'm not saying they are junk but I don't think they are better either.
-
That what it sounds like to me too, a lil better grade soap would speed things up a lil. Power House rocks!!!

What should I use for 2 and 3rd story houses?
FullBlast replied to Rodgers12's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Welcome to the board!! I'm a big X-jet lover but maybe I totally over work myself!! HA -
First off welcome to the forum, you came to the right place to learn a lil. The turbo nozzel has a porcelain tip that spins on a porcelain surface and there is just a lil play between them, if you have it pointed up it will slam the two porcelains together and will chip them, maybe not right away but it will. Take it from a guy that probley has put more hours behind a turbo than a fan nozzel. I got one trailer that 12k hr with 3 pumps mounted on it and 90% of those hours are with turbos. WEAR EAR PLUGS!!
-
Yep Thats right. 4 spray arms with turbos. Run them with 9-10 GPM, but more would be better. Barns with plastic floors.

Anyone using this technology?
