advice on purchasing a hot water machine
FullBlast replied to squeegeeboy's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Hey Steve how are you? You should call CPW equipment in Chambersburg, they have a good supply of new and used washers in stock. They use to be in the washing field and now doing sales and service, and he is very expeirenced and knowledgable of what your looking for. 717-765-9478 Jonny or Loren. Hey I'm going to be on the road the first thing in the morning, I may give you shout on that other deal. That ok?? -
Tank water and a direct drive unit
FullBlast replied to RRTServices's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
Some pumps are desiged to pull some are not. The belt drive are more commonly known to pull water on their own but not all of them will either. I was changing pumps on my one trailer and they sent me the wrong pump, I forget what the specs were on it, 8 at 3500, I went ahead and put it on but couldn't get that thing to suck to save my life. Sent it back and got the other model that looked just like it and it worked great. If they are a good sucking pump they will lift water from below. I have 7 pumps that are set up to pull out of tanks. As far as putting a 12v pump in front of it to pressurize it??? Man I'm not sure about that. I'm not saying that won't work, I just got my ?????? about it. -
Hoping you have a good year this year and just hang around here and you will learn a bundle!! :)

I think it all depends on how big your machine is, how fast you move, how strong you mix it, and other variables. There is not going to be a set amount that everybody will use. Every house is different for that matter.

Please say a Prayer for a dear Friend...Thank You!
FullBlast replied to All Surface's question in The Club House
Sorry to hear your loss of a good friend, it is always tough but if their in pain it is better to let them go, if they are ready to meet their maker. God bless you all!! -
I used to run with a proportioner but wasn't getting enough draw with my 8 gpm pumps. so I took it out and run it full bore, now I do weaken the mix down and you do have to move fast, but it don't take but a shake to soap a whole side of a house. Takes about 10 gallons to do a nice 2 story.

Extended Pressure Build-up
FullBlast replied to rick77's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
Burnt my pump one time by letting sit in bypass and that was the last. I have all of mine runnin back to the tank. You can let it sit and run all day if you want. Worth the money and time to change it. -
If your using simple green and need just a lil more bite, try Mean green I think it is just a bit stronger than Simple Geen. .02

FullBlast replied to Rodgers12's question in Residential Pressure Washing
I should try downstreaming again. Thats what I used when I frst started and had crazy trouble with the injectors, the ball would want to stick, I tried different ones but all were the same, but was not really impressed with them. I'll just stick to the X!!! -

I had the same thing happen to me o the painted door, was a n older house, I made sure the whole door looked uniform and he didn't notice it so I didn't say anything about it. It wasn't too noticable either, not blotchy. Good Luck!!!!
