Sorry to hear your loss of a good friend, it is always tough but if their in pain it is better to let them go, if they are ready to meet their maker. God bless you all!!

I used to run with a proportioner but wasn't getting enough draw with my 8 gpm pumps. so I took it out and run it full bore, now I do weaken the mix down and you do have to move fast, but it don't take but a shake to soap a whole side of a house.
Takes about 10 gallons to do a nice 2 story.

Burnt my pump one time by letting sit in bypass and that was the last. I have all of mine runnin back to the tank. You can let it sit and run all day if you want.
Worth the money and time to change it.

I should try downstreaming again. Thats what I used when I frst started and had crazy trouble with the injectors, the ball would want to stick, I tried different ones but all were the same, but was not really impressed with them.
I'll just stick to the X!!!

Joke joke!!

I haven't had problems with doorbells but I've knocked out phone service a few times from getting water into phone jacks that i didn't know were there. The last one put out their phone, cable, Internet and house alarm. Yea! That one was fun... Got the phone jack dried out and still wouldn't work. FYI--- If this ever happens. They have to call their service provider and have it re-booted. All done though computers. No Service call. This was done and all was good.Same here. Never had a door bell tho!!!

I had the same thing happen to me o the painted door, was a n older house, I made sure the whole door looked uniform and he didn't notice it so I didn't say anything about it. It wasn't too noticable either, not blotchy. Good Luck!!!!

Hello. Just stepping back in for the first time in a long time. First to answer the almost two year old question, I do not use my with a surface cleaner so I can't help you there.
As far as checking the flow and it being below the rated specs, that don't sound right to me, When I take my nozzels out my flow rate goes up quite a bit, and thus it should because there is no restriction there to hold it back to whatever it is rated at. My 7.5 gpm pumps push out about 10 gpm with no nozzel.
If your wondering what I use mine for, we use it to rinse down on big jobs sometimes and also we do drain cleaning with it, sure is the trick for doing that.

Hey please be careful out there guys!!!!!!!!!
I don't like stories like that!!!

All I have to say is don't start them too high, Because there speed and quality may not be as good a month from now as it was the first trial week. And it is hard to try to drop the pay rate, it don't work.
And also don't let them by with things the first week just because they are new, If you let them do it the first week don't expect to change them a month from now and say " I didn't say anything at first because you were new and didn't want you to feel like I was down your neck".
Come up with some work codes before he is hired and give to him, it don't have to be anything fancy but let him know what you expect out of him, what is alowed and what ain't.

I think it all depends on how big your machine is, how fast you move, how strong you mix it, and other variables. There is not going to be a set amount that everybody will use. Every house is different for that matter.
