Here is Peggy Olson's latest post on PWN. Thank you all so much! Dave really enjoyed the chats and meeting, via forums, phone, and in person, many members. He loved sharing his knowledge and experiences, and learned so much from all of you, as well! His Power washing business was his love, along with his antique tractors! "Do what you love, and love what you do" could certainly describe Dave! Thank you for your thoughtful responses and your prayers. They are very much appreciated! God bless you all, Peggy Olson

Hey saw you on Kings Manor Dr Today. I was down the street doing a roof. -
Keenan, before u spend a dime on equipment I suggest you attend NOLA or The Albany event. Either will help you get some of the education needed and answer probably all your questions. To many people make the mistake of buying equipment before getting the proper education. Attend one of the Events first. It ell save you a ton of money in the long run. If I can help you in any way feel free to call me. Be glad to help. --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=30.078057,-95.233834 Doug ********** Clean and Green Solutions 281.883.8470

Tell us some of your accidents?
Doug Rucker replied to C&S Property Services's topic in Chemicals & Safety
Walking off a tile roof in Florida cleaning one with a wand back in the 80"s. Started daydreaming and forgot where I was. Back to the street and I 'm cleaning down towards the edge and just walked off. Fell in some bushes, jumped up and looked around to make sure nobody saw me cause I was so embarassed. Walked back to the ladder and back on the roof I went. -
Stains On Brick From Aluminum Siding
Doug Rucker replied to jnoden's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Did you demo a spot to see if it comes off with plain water. Using an adjustable wand? That just oloks like mold mildew to me. See it all the time around here. -

I charge between 100-150 for 1 story and 200-275 for 2 story. Accessibility plays a big factor in pricing. Doug ********** 281.883.8470 Clean and Green Solutions via Tapatalk -

South fla, broward county, are my pices too cheap? Or expensive?
Doug Rucker replied to Roberto Masson's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Yes, you are too expensive. For who you are targeting. Look, if something cost a quarter and all you have is dime in your pocket, then it's to expensive. Sounds like your problem is you have something to sell for a quarter but your trying to sell it to someone that only has a dime, only wants to part with a dime, or doesn't fully understand why it cost a quarter. Yes 10 cents a sq ft for roof cleaning, done properly, is way low. No your prices aren't to expensive. Are your customers cheap, I dont know, look at what kind of car they drive, how do they keep up their house, do they have a pool, pet's,boat,RV, or are the weeds overgrown, car leaking oil in the driveway, fence busted down in sections, etc etc. If i were you I'd raise my prices and find a better market. -
