  1. Today, I was informed by a condo association that they would like me to submit my bid for a few units. I asked do you have any other competitors involved in this bid. The association manager says yes we have another powerwasher and a landscaper to do the gutters.

This is what gets me what does a landscaper have to do with a pressure washing. I was wondering if the forum can help me put together a few questions to have for the condo association to ask this landscaper. Maybe by showing them the answers to the question and having them ask the landscaper I could get the landscaper to not answer the questions right and wamm they condo association would go for my bid and work.

So much help is needed from my team members on the board on some tough and articulate questions. Also it would be nice if the questions I ask would have some literature to back up the answers.

Also just a little info on the condo.

  2. Today I hit the streets looking for work. Well after hitting the big money towns and placing my business card on the exterior poles of the mail box post. I received a call from a very wealthy person this rich person says hello did you place this card on my mail box I said im not sure what you mean sir. He says well your card was affixed to my mailbox post and as I removed your card the scotch tape peeled my paint from the box post.

Has this ever happen to anyone. I mean come on these house are at least a million easy and no drives anything thats american in this town. Put it this way Mike Tyson owned a home where I was today so that tells you enough.

  3. Hye guys I received a call today for a power wash on a log house. He was very adimit about getting it washed with bleach and water. After talking to the owner and getting a feel for him he told me that he builds them.

Anyone have any recomendations on how to tackle this project. I guess im getting a little nervous because of its size. I can breeze thru a 2400 patio deck but this gets me a little nervous.

    Thanks to all who reply

  4. Well deperate messures calls for desperate times. I have decided that I need to expand on certain things one of them being awnings. Well since work here is very slow I was hoping to turn to my fellow forum members for help and direction on awning cleaning.

After going into 3 stores today and asking hello sir who services your awnings. 3 FOR 3 store owners answered no one. You are the 1st to ask and man do they look dirty. So of course my response is yes they do, would you be interested in having them cleaned. Well all 3 say yes and I informed them that I will put a proposal in the mail for them in the next few days. Well here is where I need help guys. The mortage has to get paid, kids school has to be paid, and every other bill behind it.

Would anyone be willing to give direction via email, phone , or hands on help in explaing how to tackle the different types of awning cleaning.

    1) Chemicals

    2) Psi pressure on cold unit

    3) rates

    4) What to loook for on vinyle, and fabric awning

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

  5. Mike con grats on the addition to the family. Well where should I start

    1) buy ear plugs for those long crying nites.

    2) Find a rental property to get away from both the wife and the kid...haha

    3) Be prepared to spend less on yourself, as the wife will say honey the baby needs this and that and this and that.....

    4) But the most important of all is for a safe and happy delivery for both your wife and the little guy/girl who is on the way.

Best of luck to your family

  7. Well guys I received a call today from ym full time job that I am being layed off. This was my bread and butter to the mortage and my sons school tuition. The Painting and powerwashing supplemented the other bills. Well I guess the reason im writting is to see if anyone in the Connecticut area has a lead they can spare. I sure as heck will travel up to 1 hour from home on any lead so my family can still survive. Please email me or pm me if you have any lead info to spare. Thank to all glock40
