  1. A fence resto

Still need to work on that signature a little please.
  2. We have had many come work here in NC - from as far away as Michigan and as close as our immediate area. With that said, we may be more the exception than the rule on training someone right next door. At any rate, feel free to call Roger (336-516-6139 Carolina ProWash) and talk with him about what may be happening this spring that might interest you. For travel purposes, zip is 27253.
  3. Keenan - I personally wouldn't attending an event if you haven't decided exactly what you want to do. The information you will gain from just talking to those already established in what they are doing can have a tremendous bearing on what you may choose to direct your energies toward. You should also first research YOUR market. NC, TX and AZ all have vastly different circumstances than TN, particularly since you are considering the residential sector. Education is key - look at courses but also put feelers out for companies that offer labor for learning if you have an initial start up budget that may not allow for "formal" educational expenditures. As far as equipment, both Bob and Russ are excellent sources. You may also want to look at ACR Products and SunBrite Supply (both of whom are vendors on this site). Any of these will take good care of you in my opinion. We have had nothing but good experiences with all.
  4. Tell us some of your accidents?

    LOL - Forum Accident - it's still relevant :)
  5. Roberto, Blue Bliss & NorthEast........ Welcome to TGS - Please add a signature - House Rules!
  6. Keenan - all of your thoughts, doubts, concerns, etc... have been addressed at least one time on this forum. The quickest way to get information is to make yourself a list.....then search each pertinent term on that list. Unfortunately, posts like this that have 20 different topics in one tend to get very convoluted :) Good Luck and Happy Learning :) PS - GREAT job on your signature!! Thanks!
  7. Tell us some of your accidents?

Look at post #4 - not there! Poor Brian :)
  8. My ideal stain.

We have the TWP 1500 on our chicken coop. Application was a little strange (since being used to "good" oils) but thus far it is holding up extremely well for Round One - even under regular chicken poop bombs. As with most stains, the test will be with the maintenance.
  9. Tell us some of your accidents?

That was very strange......when I looked at the post earlier, it wasn't there but seeing it now - I can remember seeing that. Weird. LOL - if he'd slapped you on the hand I'd ask if you wanted a kiss on the boo-boo, but I don't kiss butts :)
  10. Surface cleaner rack

    Hey Hoover......how about a signature please :)
  11. if you......you might be a pressure washer

If the heater in your hot tub goes out and you can add 200 gallons of new hot water as needed, you might be..... :)
  12. Name Company And if you can't find anything about wood on here - you seriously have a problem. This is THE forum for wood care professionals - millions of square feet of wood taken care of. Searching is NOT hard. Signature please or I will infract you. I'm grumpy tonite.
  13. First, please add a signature - house rules. Second - NEVER use high pressure on wood. All you are going to accomplish is ripping the wood to shreds. What type bleach are you using - ie % PS - Welcome to TGS :)
  14. MSDS Binders

Work is slowing outside so we're working on some office projects - including our MSDS binders. Cold or inclimate weather is an excellent time to make this a priority since new products hit the market every year. How many keep an MSDS binder not only IN each of your trucks, but also another copy in the office? What sort of "order" are your sheets in? Are they simply in alphabetical order by product name or chemical name? In case of an emergency, it is vital that someone be able to easily find the sheet. For those with crews running that may not have mastered speaking English, much less read it - do you have other translations? I just thought that this was a good time to bring this subject up :) Celeste
  15. Rip 1919-2011

Our thoughts are with you Marko - may God help you to find peace in this time of sorrow. Roger & Celeste

  18. I'm running for UAMCC President!!! Ask Questions here

I think there is a huge power to be harnessed in this industry - if everyone can just play well together. No pokes, no bullying, no counterproductive crap.
