EacoChem or Diedrich would be our choice. Celeste

Back to the topic at hand - I wish they'd all settle down and we can get everyone back home. My oldest has recently enlisted in the Air Force and I really don't want to see her sent into harm's way - anywhere. Celeste

Here's one (or a part of it) the guys finished this week. Stained with Wood Tux Wet, slightly tinted with black, reduced with mineral spirits and water to achieve the light golden brown that the homeowner wanted :)

Latest Deck
Celeste replied to Celeste's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
No, we've been chicken to try that - heard it works but testing stains is about as brave as we get on other folks' stuff :) Our personal deck is soooo bad the weight of the surface cleaner alone would probably collapse it! Celeste -
Well mine was off the mark by a two bedrooms, another bath and about 1500 sq ft - not to mention $100K off the appraised value :) I guess I shouldn't complain too loudly since I'm paying taxes on what's there! Celeste

Call Steve Rowlett - he's right around the corner from you and will have any chem you need to take care of that yuck :) Celeste

Gorgeous mountain deck
Celeste replied to Neil_Asheville's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
I heard :) I was up to my elbows in concrete all day - and evidently will be for the next several weeks - biz is kicking into overdrive! Back to your regular deck viewing pleasure :) Celeste -

Here's another shot of the deck - the dogwood growing up through the middle made for nice photo ops :) Celeste -
Aussie Oil on Ipe at 1 year
Celeste replied to Celeste's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
We're taking the guinea pig thing to the next level - one half of this deck will be done with FloodPro Supreme Performance, the other half in Wood Tux Wet. We'll take pictures regularly afterward to show the progression of both stains. Celeste -

Doesn't it look clean :) Glad to hear you're taking care of that huge span of wood up there! Celeste -
Who is going to PWNA throwdown in October?
Celeste replied to EnviroClean's topic in Business Topics & Tips
Jason, We have roller coastered with our membership in the PWNA for years now. It's helped, they've aggravated me, the list goes on. Bottom line, you get out of it what you want to. Here's what I'm getting at - IF you think that joining would be a good marketing strategy for you, go for it. IF you think that you can offer something of value to the organization, join the list of volunteers and make a difference. Offer translation, plain and simple. Problem solved. It's probably not something that is out of the realm of possibility, getting the stuff into the Spanish language - it may be that you are the first person to bring it to the top of the pot :) Celeste -
Further lesson learned here......have the homeowners remove all of the screens prior to your arrival. If they need cleaned, add (or include) cleaning them with a mild soap while they are off of the house. Replace after drying. Makes getting to the windows to clean them ever so much easier as well :) Celeste
-
Rescreening is really really easy, especially with those types - screening is pretty inexpensive, a spline tool is less than $2 and spline is cheap. I'd take them off, rescreen and color it experience. Plus you can later offer rescreening as un upcharge :) Celeste PS - Looks like cat damage to me too.

Square footage was about 2,291 - our rate was just over $2/sq to clean and seal. We don't upcharge for the height - it's not a big deal for us. We can use the Coress or Magnum to easily reach from the outside if leaning over gets iffy :) Celeste -
Well that sounds like a neat trick - does it only work on painted surfaces? I've got water stains on my ceiling here & there...much rather mist than paint! Celeste

Don't have any afters from that angle (not a great shot to get) but here's one where Roger tried to get as much of it in the pic as possible. The picture is still missing where it wraps both sides of the house. -

Can't see much deck in this pic but the handrail behind the butterfly bush is pretty nice :)
