PWNA Executive Director Resigns – Message from Eric Clark, President of PWNA
Celeste replied to Robert Hinderliter's topic in PWNA News, Events, and Information
I would hazard to guess that he was saying PWNA has 266 PAID MEMBERS and NCE has thousands of contractors that participate with his company. NCE is a privately held COMPANY, therefore, would not have members by the PWNA member standards.- 27 replies

Ron - aren't you supposed to be on vacation? You know - in that big ass condo overlooking the Pacific with the huge wrap around patio? Get off the boards and enjoy the view :)
-
All I can say is that (a) I am eternally grateful for the voices that told me to stay off of that BOD when offered a seat (b) I am more grateful that I did NOT renew my membership into an organization that will post such blatantly disrespectful and unfounded lies about not only a member but one of the most supportive members. To Mike - remember my reference to a firecracker? To the Board of Directors - although not a member.....I see only one course of action to redeem this sinking ship (again). Change ED's IMMEDIATELY.

I'd suggest no turbo or surface cleaner! The stuff can be marred with too much pressure. -
We're over in Wake County for the next two weeks - feel free to send her info and we can take a look. prowash2@carolinaprowash.com

We have developed enough of a "good quality" and loyal customer base with the EXCELLENT deck services (full blown & proper) that we will just leave the cheapies to the other guys. If someone's deck is not a valuable investment to them - well, we just can't fix that - those folks are better left to the painters. Keeps them busy and away from the high end jobs anyway. -

15 gallons and they wouldn't let you take it in your work truck? just silly IMO. HOWEVER, if you haven't considered putting commercial tags on your vehicle, you should. It's actually less expensive to insure (for the coverage you get) and you won't pay some sillyass delivery fees to get 15 gallons of stuff! -
Rob Huffman - washing for DIAPER MONEY!!!
Celeste replied to Beth n Rod's question in The Club House
Yay for little girls!! Congrats to Rob & Mrs. Rob! -
Not altogether certain what we'd charge........but I cannot WAIT to see the finished project. What a stunning piece of architecture!

I think this may call for some "emergency" conference calls, or mass Skype, or a meeting of some sort. If Guy is correct, we have less than TWO weeks to submit changes to our "representatives" (not sure how this works with non-members who will also be badly affected by them) I learned a while back during the drought that a lovely way to stop wheels from turning out of control is by papering them to death. They will have to take notice. As one of the two "young ladies"......I still want to compile this same information and DO something with it that will help contractors.....not egos and bean-counters.

It might look "golden" but it's still not good. Rob, we aren't doing anything WRONG.....Pressure Washing companies are NOT the problem. We're the SOLUTION!

ZAR semi-transparent deck stain
Celeste replied to jeffex11's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
There are hybrid products out there that are oil & water. Flood has one - we had to put it on 5500 sq ft of ipe :( They encapsulate the oils in a water droplet so that the water is the original carrier. Not saying that it's a good product - or bad. WE didn't like the application method or the result after 2 weeks application. Just sayin. -
I feel like a "cheap lowballer!"

Chalk this one up to a learning curve - it was a hard one but you probably rolled several "experiences" into one :) It gets better! -
